We were delighted to host a Cultural Companion Event today at the Michael Cusack Heritage Centre, with Active Retirement groups from all around Co. Clare. Thanks to Sandra Stackpool & Channelle Waring of Age friendly Clare and Michael Cusack (great name!) of Clare Older People’s Council. We had great story’s, lively chats, lots of laughs and a wonderful, if somewhat wet, visit to An Púca!

What a Finish to our Improving My Wellbeing 2026 Schools Programme!!
240 second years and 10 teachers in St Flannans College Ennis explored “Who Am I?” and “Bend Don’t Break : Building Resilience” over a 2 hour very engaging and reflective wellbeing workshop led by Peter Casey of Clare GAA Coaching team and staff of the Michael Cusack Heritage Centre. This workshop concluded our 13th half day workshop for DEIS 1 students in 2026.
All made possible by ongoing support from Limerick & Clare Education and Training Board who have supported us over the past 6 years. We also gratefully acknowledge individual Clare County Councillors through their GMA supports.

Wonderful afternoon in Carron hosting St Joseph’s Secondary School,Tulla Transition Years today. We explored the Burren Rocks, met the Púca and visited the Cusack Cottage from Where It All Began.
