Apologies for the picture quality but it's not so much about the picture as the initiative!

It's lovely to see signs of spring arriving, longer days, rise in temperature, joyous wild flowers appearing in the fields and hedgerows, trees budding and all those things that signpost better days.

Bantry has taken a beating this long past winter and in line with spring and moving forward we are offering one of our windows as a community space to any group that doesn't have a shop frontage for weekly periods.

This week we welcome the wonderful Jesters to our space.
Look at their window or pop in to their coffee stop in the Bakehouse every Saturday morning to find out more about what they do.

A fabulous fundraiser for the Jesters and SVP being held in the old Bakehouse towards the end of this week.
Great value, great treats and great atmosphere and a great chance to help two gems of your community.
