A huge well done to all our athletes who represented Wicklow yesterday at the regional finals in Templemore. A brilliant achievement to make it to this level; you did Baltinglass Community Games proud.

A special mention to Hannah, who won Gold in the U12 100m. Hannah will now continue on to nationals.

A Huge Congratulations to our amazing Baltinglass Gymnasts🤸‍♀️

A massive congratulations to our incredible gymnasts Evie, Clodagh, Emma, Kayla and Aoife, who proudly represented Wicklow at the Community Games National Finals in Kilkenny.

To reach the national finals is an outstanding achievement in itself, and we couldn't be prouder of the dedication and hard work each of these talented girls has shown throughout the year.

A huge thank you also goes to your coaches, parents, and families for their support and encouragement every step of the way.

Well done, girls, you've done your community proud.

Last, but by no means least, it's time to celebrate our fantastic Under 14 boys and girls! 🌟

Our Under 14 athletes produced some outstanding performances throughout the competition.

First up was Scott, who battled through an injury to produce a fantastic run and finish 2nd in the 100m. An incredible achievement and a true display of determination.

Next came Kayla, who ran a brilliant race in the 200m, with a fantastic 4th-place finish. Well done, Kayla.

We then moved on to our middle-distance athletes, where Aoife delivered an excellent performance to claim 3rd place in the girls' 800m, while Aodhan ran a superb race to finish 2nd in the boys' 800m.

Then we had our Under 13 relay made up of Kayla, Aoife, Scott, and Patrick, who performed fantastically to finish 2nd in a very competitive race.

We would also like to wish Scott, Aoife and Aodhan the very best of luck as they progress to the Regional Finals in Clonmel. We'll all be cheering you on and can't wait to see what you achieve next.

Next up, we celebrate our fantastic Under 12 athletes

Our Under 12 boys and girls showed incredible determination, enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the competition, making everyone at Baltinglass Community Games incredibly proud.

They competed across the 100m, 200m, Long Jump and 4x100m Relays, with every athlete giving their very best and representing Baltinglass with pride.

A huge congratulations to Hannah, who ran a superb race to finish 2nd in the 100m, earning herself a place at the Regional Finals in Clonmel. We wish her the very best of luck.

Our Under 12 Girls' 4x100m Relay Team of Hannah, Ella, Lucy and Clodagh also put in a fantastic performance, racing to a bronze medal with a brilliant display of teamwork.

A special well done goes to all of the athletes who competed in the Community Games for the very first time this year. You showed great courage, gave it your all and should be so proud of your achievements.

The future is certainly bright for these young sports stars, and we can't wait to watch them continue to grow and succeed in the years ahead.
