Here is a post about an amazing class completed on a rainy day in September. I hope we can do it again. The experience of mixing nature and photography was atmospheric and surprising. I hope I can describe it.
The class was run by Siobhan from The Natural School of Art using the Tearmann Community Garden as a location. it was done in conjunction with Wicklow County Arts Office as part of Creative Places. I will describe the event on the photo captions as best I can.

Here are a few dates for the Christmas Diary.
WEDNESDAY 9th (FREE) we have artist funding in Baltinglass Library on Wednesday. 11.00 to 12.30.
Come and meet the team from Wicklow County Arts Office - yu might know them from Cruinniu na nOg if your child helped with the GIANT FREAMS. New artists young and older and wanted.

WEDNESAY 9th (FREE)- we have the Rathcoran Party in Germaines at 6.30 to 8.30. There will be music and Santa, finger food , a chance to chat.
Also Christmas craft by Kathy from Ecoyouthbeauty Many kids worked with Kathy to make a swan a few years ago. FACEPAINTING with Diane. You know what to do. Tell Diane who you want to be. She finds a picture on her phone and paints.

FRIDAY 12th (TEN EURO)- the Baltinglass Sings choir is doing beautiful music in St Josephs Church at 8pm. Tickets at the door -10 euro.
Last year Paula Phelan Coaching did a beautiful arrangement of SILENT NIGHT . The good news is you get a second chance to hear that, Our new conductor Leire along with our beloved pianist Fler will have a brilliant line up of music got you.

SUNDAY 14th (FREE)We have Baltinglass Tidy Towns doing their SONGALONG in the Woods

Here in Rathcoran, we are aware that E-SCOOTERS
don't mix with brain health. Children's Health Ireland are reminding people, e-Scooters are NOT toys.
Someone might wanna tell Santa that.
And, don't start me on helmets.

Exciting News for Baltinglass!

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Baltinglass Park junior parkrun starting Sunday, November 9th at 9:30am in Baltinglass Park! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

What is junior parkrun?

A free, fun, and friendly 2km event for children aged 4–14 whether they love to run, jog, walk, or skip!

Join us every Sunday morning to get active, make friends, and enjoy the beautiful Baltinglass Park.

We had a HALLOWEEN party for with a visit from The National Reptile Zoo, facepainting by Diane and arts and crafts with BROOMSTICKS and clay from The Natural School of Art
The residents as well as friends of Rathcoran packed FATIMA Hall. We learned a lotabout creatures. A big thank you to Cherish and Mark.
