Fantastic achievement by Andy on Sunday I think everyone will agree, and he would have loved to have gone twice as far.
In order for the event to have taken place it needed a great team to organise everything for the day to go off without a glitch.
Back around Christmas time Andy floated the idea about reversing the route in order to raise money for Pieta in Mike's memory, and a few people came forward to offer help make the idea a reality.
Obviously Eileen, Laura & Leah were all involved from the start. The few that need a special mention are Ger Brosnan, Ella O Sullivan, Janet Bourke, Stan O Sullivan, Ned Murphy, who all put their hands up to help straight away. And by golly did they put in a massive effort. Without them the day would not have happened.
On the day there were alot more people involved, and we are ever so grateful for their time, effort and humour.

This morning online donations stand at over €13,000. Bucket collections so far of €1700 to be added in, bringing the total raised to around €15,000 Idonate will stay open until the end of the month. And buckets are still in bars for the week.
Absolutely phenomenal amount of money raised beyond our expectations in memory of Michael Murphy going towards Pieta.
