Soroptimists International, Ballinasloe & District The Club was founded in 1995 by the late Cepta Connolly, our founding president. As a club we are committed to local, national and international communities.

Since our foundation, in addition to national and international SI projects, the club has raised €96,000 for local charities since the foundation. Soroptimist International is a worldwide association for women working through Awareness, Advocacy, and Action. Our objectives are to strive for
