digging around an audio / podcast database I found a 2009 broadcast of a 1979 documentary on RTÉ Radio 1 called Baldoyle Racecourse. The area was to be known as SEA LAND. Ted Corcoran, Michael Joe Cosgrave, Barney Walsh and others are interviewed.

For most of the 20th century, Baldoyle was famed for its racecourse, a seaside track in County Dublin that witnessed many stars in its history, both on the Flat and over Jumps (Broadcast 1979).
