Once again, Balbriggan showed just how wonderful our community is💛

We are so excited to see you all in the morning for Darkness into Light Balbriggan 2026💛

The walk will start at 4:15am from the Balbriggan Fc carpark. There is no parking in bathroad so please keep this is mind if you need to drive.

We can’t wait to see you all in the morning as we walk together as a community from darkness into the sunrise and shine a light of hope through our amazing community🌅 Life is tough out there and we hope that by coming together, raising vital funds for Pieta. Ending Su***de. Beginning Hope that we can reach all those who need to know that you are never alone.

📢 Community Notice – Darkness Into Light Balbriggan 💛

Pieta’s annual Darkness Into Light 5km walk will take place in Balbriggan on Saturday, 9th May 2026.

The walk begins at 4:15am from Balbriggan FC car park, following a 5km route via Bath Road and Drogheda Street. Around 2,000 participants are expected, with the event finishing by approximately 7am.

Please note there will be no parking on Bath Road, though local access will remain available. Residents may notice increased activity in the area early that morning.

Thank you for your understanding and support for this important community event raising hope and awareness for su***de prevention. 💛
