๐ŸŒŸ Inclusive Summer Camps in Wicklow 2026 ๐ŸŒŸ

Great to see inclusive summer activities being made available across Wicklow for children and young people of all abilities ๐Ÿ™Œ

From swimming and cycling camps to teen gym programmes and outdoor activities, these opportunities help build confidence, friendships and fun in a supportive environment ๐Ÿ’™

While weโ€™re not involved in organising these camps, weโ€™re delighted to share them as a positive community resource for local families.

โœจ Throwback to our 2025 Launch Night for Arklow Autism Friendly Town โœจ

What an incredible evening it was as our community came together with one shared goal โ€” creating positive change and building a more inclusive and accepting town for everyone.

On the night, we highlighted the amazing portfolio of assets already established within our beautiful town โ€” from inclusive groups and welcoming spaces to individuals who have worked tirelessly over the years to promote understanding, support, and acceptance in Arklow.

We launched our community-led approach, focused on working together as one team and ensuring every individual and every voice is heard. We celebrated everything Arklow had already achieved while also sharing the goals and plans we hoped to accomplish in the year ahead.
The evening was filled with inspiring guest speakers, wonderful performances, and most importantly, a strong sense of community spirit and hope for the future.

Thank you to everyone who supported, attended, contributed, and believed in the vision of a more inclusive Arklow. Together, we continue to make a difference. ๐ŸŒป

This morning, we had the pleasure of meeting Principal Lisa Dempsey and Nathan, the Autism Assistance Dog, from St. Michael's and Peter's Junior National School.

Nathan is currently undergoing his training and is doing incredibly well already. It was wonderful to see firsthand the positive impact and support that initiatives like this can bring to a school community.

We are absolutely delighted to see St. Michaelโ€™s and Peterโ€™s Junior National School taking on this initiative and leading the way in creating an even more inclusive and supportive environment for their students. Supports like these can make such a meaningful difference in helping children feel calm, regulated, supported, and included throughout their school day.

Wishing Nathan continued success in his training journey, we look forward to following his progress.
