A cultural effort to keep the 'roots'. Founded in January 2012. Especially in Jember, an eastern regency of East Java. Because, we have many problems about it.

Adopted by some American Blues forums & communities, this forum has to take a part in conservation of world music roots & traditional cultural heritage. In bringing and placing an old culture, this forum has several points of effort. Basically, to showing off to everyone how traditional culture works in humanity. Then, to promote, held musical event, help culture doers in living until a further re

search of culture. As the example, nowadays, youngsters have less interest in culture, emphasized in traditional culture. Blues, as in history itself, was considered as the root of all modern music in the world. Came from black men of America Island. Here, as we know for so long, this kind of music has influenced many musicians in the world. A statement like ‘You’re not a musician if you don’t know blues as well’ often we heard. That’s true! How we making up great tunes while the basic music you don’t know very well? In this case, we wouldn’t explain longer the reason of establishing this forum. Culture is deep & wide. And culture changed time by time. The new will bury the old ones if we have no effort how to keep the old alive. In Jember itself, pop art based in folk culture faced stagnation. Only some care about. Then, this is one of many to take care about.
