The General Insurance Association of Indonesia (AAUI) was inevitable with the existence of The Insurance Council of Indonesia (DAI) which has been built since February, 1st 1957. DAI had become a struggle organization for life insurance companies, general insurance/reinsurance, and social insurance company until 2002. Considering some developing aspiration in the 10th DAI Congress which was held o
n January, 22th-23th 2002, DAI members then build association based on each corresponding fields. At once it was built in 2002, AAUI together with DAI occupy the same office on Jl. However, since the first year of 2003 until now, AAUI officially has its own office at Permata Kuningan Building, 2nd floor, Jl. Kuningan Madya Kav. 9C Guntur, South Jakarta.
