Love in action, the Sai way 💙

In celebration of Easwaramma Day, SYA Jakarta spent a meaningful day through a special seva at Rumah Singgah Peduli, Jakarta Pusat. Through every smile shared, every helping hand, and every moment of togetherness, we were reminded of the beautiful values Mother Easwaramma embodied so naturally, unconditional love, selflessness, and endless care for others.

May this seva become a reflection for all of us to carry her motherly love in our hearts and express it through kindness in our daily lives. 🌸

Today we are celebrating Shivaratri. “Shivaratri” means “Auspicious darkness”. At least on this day, one should chant Shiva’s name all through the night. At least on one day in a year, chant the Lord’s name. This night, devotees are expected to stay awake by chanting the sacred name of Shiva. Keeping awake in any other way is purposeless. Spending the night reciting the Lord’s name sanctifies one’s life.

Hari ini kita merayakan Shivaratri. “Shivaratri” berarti “kegelapan yang penuh berkah”. Setidaknya pada hari ini, seseorang harus melantunkan nama Shiva sepanjang malam. Setidaknya satu hari dalam setahun, lantunkan nama Tuhan. Malam ini, para penyembah diharapkan untuk tetap terjaga dengan melantunkan nama suci Siwa. Tetap terjaga dengan cara lain tidak ada gunanya. Menghabiskan malam dengan melafalkan nama Tuhan menyucikan hidup seseorang.
