Sterilise sterilise sterilise! The only way to prevent puppy dumping, starving stray dogs and cats, dogs hit by cars, you name it, is by reducing the number of dogs. We cannot adopt and rescue our way out of this.

How's the no more dogs in until we adopt some out going? Not well!
Someone texted me that a neighbor had moved a couple of weeks ago, took one dog and left behind this mother dog and two puppies. First one puppy was taken, but these two were struggling to compete with bigger dogs for food, getting bitten and bullied. They are house pets and won't survive the street.
Then when I went to have a look, her puppy had been taken and mama was really upset. The neighbor said they were always together and slept curled up together.
So that was too sad to think about her alone so in the car she went. She has loads of scars right now but I think she'll be a beautiful, adoptable small dog soon. What should we name her?

A detour on the way to sterilisation day! We got a report of a paralyzed dog dumped.
Injured dogs lash out from fear and pain so we came prepared with tranquilizer darts and nets. No need- this boy was worried and stressed but decided to trust that we wanted to help. Brave Murphy made friends with all the vet staff while getting tests and x-rays today. I’m sending his xrays around for surgery option, fingers crossed he can heal completely!

Guys, we’re really struggling with the dumping at our beach. Please share this post or put a random comment to help those get seen🙏🐶 Too many vulnerable puppies alone on the beach and look at this poor mama dumped with her entire family last night!! We've been organizing a sterilization of street dogs here but couldn't coordinate all the feeders until today. This Bali dog was urgent because she's abused by neighbors and has had previous puppies dumped. We made a plan with her feeder to hopefully keep them safe until we can take the puppies for adoption. Please reach out if you can sponsor a puppy's vaccines, thank you!

After days and nights of syringe-feeding, not able to even sit up, Moxie got up this morning and said "I made it!" So so proud of this teeny girl who was dumped with her brother. He looked strong physically but was so anemic, he died after a couple of days in care. Moxie had Parvo, worms, and is still anemic but finally eager to eat. Very happy- today is going to be a great day.

She said it was love at first sight when Difha met Dudley adoption day. 💘 I wasn’t sure it was a good fit because puppies are a lot of work but we texted for a while and she convinced me she was prepared. Today they started the trial adoption and how ridiculously adorable is this carrier she got for him!
We’ll see Dudley soon as he’s still getting vaccines and will be sterilized. I know he’s going to be a spoiled little guy.

This family doesn’t want their dogs to have any more puppies but can’t afford to spay/sterilize them. It’s a great feeling to give them their freedom by sterilizing them: freedom from future pregnancies, and freedom to be dogs again!! ❤️
