We're so late updating Mr Pinky but it's great news. The end of this video is a reminder of how shut down and scared he was when we picked him up. He was a Bali dog living on the street and really struggling to survive as he had no dog friends and he was terrified of humans so no street feeders could even feed him as he would run away.
We really can't believe what a brave boy he is, he can be petted now, of course we always let him run off when he's had enough but his new confidence makes us so happy. And you can see his physical transformation- he's a handsome boy now, beautiful fur, fully vaccinated and sterilized. Thank you dear Angela Kuilboer and Angela Natale for supporting him!!

Most of our adult Bali dogs won’t ever be adopted because there is a never-ending supply of puppies here. So we make sure everyone is living their best life with doggie friends, adventures, ongoing healthcare including sterilization and vaccines, yummy food and lots of love💕🐾💕

Mama dogs will always have a special place in my heart. Honey came to us when a traveller found her living on the street with her two puppies and sponsored their rescue. She was spending all her time looking for food and protecting her little girls, Biscuit and Maple.

After a couple of months of raising her puppies, vaccinating, sterilizing, it’s Honey’s turn. This lovely couple fell in love with her although Honey was so nervous that she was completely stiff when they held her. I was afraid they would change their minds but, no, they said she’s the one! They even have a Bali dog friend named Mimi waiting for her at home.

No more starving, no more making sure her pups don’t get run over. She gets to be the one who’s looked after. Happy forever, Honey!! Thank you as always to Adopt Don't Shop Bali 💖

We brought little mama dog Maisy home with her four day old puppies because they were on a dangerous road. In the blink of an eye, they are almost four months old and one of her daughters is just as big as Maisy!
It's so sweet seeing her go from exhausted young mum to enjoying them as playmates.

Millie's bloodwork is back and good news is that her kidney and liver values are normal for a senior dog. Albumin is low and globulin levels very elevated, she’s got a number of chronic issues:
chronic skin infection
chronic dental disease
chronic inflammation
chronic bacterial infection
fungal disease
This isn’t bad considering that she’s been severe neglected and her health will improve with good nutrition and lots of love.❤️
She’s also somewhat blind! I watched her as she walked around for a long time, I think memorizing her new space. Luckily she wants to be inside in bed most of the time.

I thought she was a puppy hiding under the boats but she’s a little old lady dog. She was scared and so confused. She’s had lots of puppies, her mange and missing teeth show she’s been neglected for ages then left here to fight the big dogs for food.💔 Unforgivable.
I don’t take on forever dogs lightly, but she’s too frail to survive very long on the beach.
If you’d like to help sponsor Millie’s retirement, she and I would be very grateful. Link in bio or comment and I’ll send details, thank you!

Honey has been with me for almost two years. She's beautiful and could have been adopted many times over, but I just couldn't let her go until I knew she'd found her people.
Honey isn't a difficult dog. She's just... not a street dog. She really struggled alone on the beach as a puppy, I took her into my house though I didn’t have a safe house at the time.
She's a princess. The kind of dog who expects walks, grooming appointments, couch cuddles, and someone to tell her she's pretty every single day.
When Naya and her dog loving mom came looking for a companion for their beloved rescued Kintamani dog, Cherry, it just clicked.
Honey, your beach days are over. Go enjoy the royal life you always deserved. ❤️ Please note- she didn’t give me a second look as she left😂

Quick update on Turnip! My rabbit-loving friend Linda Eustace was visiting and gave her a sweet bunny name. I love it because it's light-hearted and this poor dog has had nothing but suffering. I wish comfort, safety and wouldn't it be amazing to see her play one day?

Just got sent this video a few minutes ago. This dog was reported with a TVT cancer tumor by her street feeder Ibu Tuti. I approved treatment but she was didn't show up until tonight.

I'm so grateful to our vet for immediately going to give her chemotherapy roadside. Isn't it lovely seeing and hearing her comforted?🩷

Her tumor is large so I'm trying to figure out where to put her for 6 weeks so we can chemo every week. We're covering medical costs but if anyone can pitch in for boarding, please comment or message me. It's just $5/day but a long time.

Look at Jerry now🥰 Who knows how long he was just another mangey senior Bali dog on the street sick with blood parasites and looking thru rubbish for food. Now he's getting chunky and a key member of the pack. Ebony Owens This is the old man we got at that adoption day!
