Trash Hero Canggu We clean Indonesia. We pick up trash to keep the paradise. Together, week after week, step by step 💛 WHAT DO TRASH HEROES DO?

-Action and Awareness.

We pick up trash. Whether a cigarette butt on the road, or 20,000 kilos from island beaches – if we see it, we clean it! And as they say, actions speak louder than words. By spending just a few hours together picking up trash, people can see the real world consequences of being careless about waste.

-Education. We back up hands-on experience with educational information about the impact that tra

sh has on the global environment.

-Sustainable Projects. We create long-term projects that bring communities together to remove and better manage their waste, and strategies that reduce the amount of waste being produced in the future.

Last Sunday 14 Heroes collected 79kg trash - out of which 35kg were recyclables - and prevented this amount from ending up in the ocean.

And while cleanups are fun, our real mission goes way deeper than just picking up rubbish…

🟡 Being a Trash Hero doesn’t mean you need to show up every Sunday (although we’d love that 😉). It means making better choices, every day.

Actually everyone can be a Trash Hero without ever having participated in a single cleanup! You, too ☺️

How? It’s easy:
✨ Switching to refills instead of single-use
✨ Saying no to unnecessary packaging
✨ Choosing reuse over throw away
✨ Inspiring your friends and family to do the same

That’s why every week we don’t just clean - we educate.
Our team and volunteers are on a journey toward a more sustainable lifestyle. Step by step. Imperfect but committed.
