Trash Hero Canggu We clean Indonesia. We pick up trash to keep the paradise. Together, week after week, step by step 💛 WHAT DO TRASH HEROES DO?

-Action and Awareness.

We pick up trash. Whether a cigarette butt on the road, or 20,000 kilos from island beaches – if we see it, we clean it! And as they say, actions speak louder than words. By spending just a few hours together picking up trash, people can see the real world consequences of being careless about waste.

-Education. We back up hands-on experience with educational information about the impact that trash has on the global environment.

-Sustainable Projects. We create long-term projects that bring communities together to remove and better manage their waste, and strategies that reduce the amount of waste being produced in the future.

-Inspiration. We motivate people to become Trash Heroes in their everyday lives. Trash Hero Thailand alum have gone home to make their own heroic clean-ups around the world. Click here to see their stories. more on www.trashhero.org

Last Sunday 3 Heroes collected 22kg trash - out of which 11kg were recyclables - and prevented this amount from ending up in the ocean.

And while cleanups are fun, our real mission goes way deeper than just picking up rubbish…

🟡 Being a Trash Hero doesn’t mean you need to show up every Sunday (although we’d love that 😉). It means making better choices, every day.

Actually everyone can be a Trash Hero without ever having participated in a single cleanup! You, too ☺️

How? It’s easy:
✨ Switching to refills instead of single-use
✨ Saying no to unnecessary packaging
✨ Choosing reuse over throw away
✨ Inspiring your friends and family to do the same

That’s why every week we don’t just clean - we educate.
Our team and volunteers are on a journey toward a more sustainable lifestyle. Step by step. Imperfect but committed.

And together we make a difference 💛

If you’re curious how to become a Trash Hero without ever joining a cleanup, Trash Hero World created a free online mini-course to explain it all.
Simple, short, and straight from the heart.
👉 Link in bio or in our first story highlight.

However, if you never join a cleanup the chances are pretty much 0 that you’ll ever get one of our awesome yellow shirts ☺️

So, better make sure to join us on any Sunday afternoon (if it’s not raining)
And if you’re not in Bali, check trashhero, org to find a chapter close to you - or start your own.

You can find us on any Sunday at 4:30pm on Batu Bolong Beach - unless it’s raining.

Last but not least, we thank our core team members and our volunteers again for their ongoing support 💛

🙏 You are our beating heart.
Every action you take - big or small - ripples outward.
Thank you for walking the talk. For caring. For leading. For showing up.

Together, we are the change 💛

Last Sunday, 6 amazing Heroes collected a total of 25kg trash - including 6kg recyclables - keeping it all out of the ocean.

Cleanups are always rewarding… but that’s not the whole picture.

🟡 Being a Trash Hero isn’t just about showing up on Sundays (though we love seeing your faces!).
It’s about the little choices we make every single day.

You don’t need to join a cleanup to be a Trash Hero.
Seriously, anyone can step into that role, starting right now.

Here’s how:
✨ Choose refills over single-use
✨ Say no to extra packaging
✨ Reuse, repair, repeat
✨ Be the example for your friends & family

That’s why we don’t just clean.
We teach. We share. We walk the path.

Our volunteers and team are all learning to live more sustainably - not perfectly, but with heart and commitment.
And step by step, it adds up. 💛

Curious how to become a Trash Hero from wherever you are?
🌍 Trash Hero World made a free online mini-course that shows you exactly how.
It’s quick, simple, and made with love.
👉 Link in bio or in our first Story Highlight.

(Of course, if you do want to earn one of our bright yellow shirts… joining a cleanup is kind of a must ☺️)

So, if you’re in Bali, come by any Sunday (as long as it’s not raining!)
📍 4:30pm, Batu Bolong Beach.

Not in Bali? Check trashhero.org to find your nearest chapter, or start your own. 💪

To our amazing team and selfless volunteers:
🙏 You are the pulse of this movement.
Every bottle, every bag, every effort - it matters.
Thanks for showing what it means to care, to lead, and to act.

Together, we make a difference 💛
