💡🗺In the final third of our Approach project, the focus was on creativity and observation-based development. Our participants were able to work on projects of their own initiative.
🏋️♂️They built a home gym using only second-hand timber and metal bars that were still in good condition. They did everything themselves, from the design and gathering of materials right through to the construction, so the Habitat HUB is now enriched with a pull-up bar and a push-up rack. The outdoor sink unit and shelving system were also refurbished at their own expense, making camp life even more comfortable.
🎤🥪🥘Of course, the end of the camp was not just about work, but also about celebration and bringing the camp to a close. On one of the final days, we held a cultural evening to which we invited some of our friends living in the local area, and we showcased the fruits of our labour, whilst the participants served food, drinks and desserts from their own countries.
After three intensive weeks, the participants set off on their journeys with a wealth of new experiences, knowledge and insights, and bid farewell to Kerkakutas.
