Opportunities abound in Haiti, but never in my wildest dreams did I ever think this would happen. Haiti Hospital Appeal, a British based Christian NGO, contacted me and asked for help. They have been given the dream and ability to build a clinic for women and children in Cap Haitien, and part of the clinic will be a five bed NICU. My task will be to train the Haitian doctors and nurses on how to o
rganize staffing, document patient care and maintain records, properly use the equipment and supplies that have been donated and care for the tiniest patients ever. I am asking you to join me in prayer for safe travel, wisdom and humility while teaching in another culture, energy, and provision. My journey started September 17th. I have made several trips to train staff and oraganize supplies and equipment. I now am beginning to plan to spend 2 months there this summer as we open our little NICU. This is a volunteer position and the mission has asked me to raise funds to cover my expenses. God has faithfully provided desperately need supplies, equipment, textbooks and other medical professionals willing to come and share their knowledge.
