Behind the scenes…

Yesterday, most of our US board members came together to pray, discuss, make some hard decisions as well as have hope for the future of Footprints of the Son. Serving in Haiti has become harder and harder, but we are willing to push through and make some tough decisions to continue to fulfill our mission of transforming the lives of children with disabilities in Haiti primarily through inclusion.

Help our Footprints children attend Night to Shine 2026 which is just around the corner. We need to transport them all there even though this amazing event is free! We would like to raise $500 for this need. The best part is our teen and young adult volunteers are already asking to help! What a win for the community. These children are seen!!!

Some days all you need is a good friend…

Our students in Haiti each received a hard boiled egg as a “treat.” Look at their excitement and sweet little faces as the received and ate them. We could learn a lot from them about being grateful.

We are so happy to report that Clameson received his life saving heart surgery yesterday and is now on the road to recovery. The surgeon said it’s a miracle Clameson held on as long as he has because the hole was so large in his heart. We are so blessed to have him in our outreach program and together with huge help from Haiti Cardiac Alliance we are so grateful! Be on the look out for more updates on this precious boy. Keep praying!

We have had to pull back on a lot of things this year and really watch and control the growth of the ministry for budget reasons, but one special thing was able to start recently! Our 7th and 8th graders are having Bible Club after school. It is a program designed by a dear friend and is interactive and focuses on application. We couldn’t think of a better way to truly make a difference in these teenagers lives.
