Aujourd’hui, la Fondation Barbancourt, avec le soutien des cuisines de la Société du Rhum Barbancourt et du Chef Sébastien, a distribué 500 plats chauds aux familles déplacées.

Face à l’urgence, notre engagement reste entier : être présents, agir avec solidarité et soutenir notre communauté.

As the situation in the Plaine du Cul-de-Sac continues to worsen under the violence of armed gangs, many families are being forced to flee their homes in order to survive. Every day, the sound of gunfire, fear, and uncertainty continue to place the population in deep distress.

At the Fondation Barbancourt, we remain committed to our mission: supporting, standing by, and bringing hope to our community during these difficult times.

We send our strength and solidarity to the people of Plaine du Cul-de-Sac, and to every Haitian affected directly or indirectly by this violence.

Le samedi 11 avril 2026, l’École de musique de la Fondation Barbancourt a célébré sa toute première année d’existence.

Ouverte aux jeunes de la communauté âgés de 12 à 30 ans, l’école de musique a débuté avec 50 participants. Un an plus t**d, 35 d’entre eux ont poursuivi l’aventure avec engagement et discipline, témoignant de la force du programme et de la passion qui les anime.

Encadrés par des maestros expérimentés, ces jeunes musiciens ont offert une prestation remarquable, interprétant plusieurs morceaux devant leurs familles, les membres de la fondation et de nombreux invités. Un moment de fierté, mais surtout la preuve concrète d’un apprentissage transformateur.

Gratuite et accessible, cette école porte une vision claire : faire de la musique bien plus qu’un loisir, mais une véritable opportunité, un métier possible, et un outil d’insertion sociale. Déjà, ces jeunes mettent leur talent au service de leur communauté, en participant à différents événements, y compris des cérémonies importantes comme des funérailles.

Former, inspirer et ouvrir des perspective, la musique devient ici un levier de changement durable.

On Saturday, April 11, 2026, the Barbancourt Foundation Music School celebrated its very first anniversary.

Open to young people in the community aged 12 to 30, the school began with 50 participants. One year later, 35 of them continued the journey with commitment and discipline, reflecting the strength of the program and their passion for music.

Under the guidance of experienced maestros, these young musicians delivered a remarkable performance, playing several pieces in front of their families, foundation members, and invited guests. It was a moment of pride, but also clear evidence of a truly transformative learning experience.

Free and accessible, the school carries a clear vision: to make music more than just a hobby, but a real opportunity, a potential career path and a tool for social inclusion.
Already, these young musicians are putting their talent at the service of their community by participating in various events.

Ak sipèvizyon 12 sikològ pwofesyonèl, patisipan yo ap benefisye fòmasyon estriktire sou jesyon estrès ak emosyon, teknik animasyon gwoup, premye sekou sikolojik, ansanm ak prevansyon vyolans ki baze sou sèks (VBG). Pwogram nan gen ladan tou atelye atistik ak sosyo-kiltirèl ki ankouraje ekspresyon, rezilyans ak solidarite.

Aktivite an gwoup yo pèmèt idantifye jèn ki gen bezwen espesifik, epi oryante yo nan sesyon endividyèl ki adapte ak sitiyasyon yo.

Nan yon vizyon dirab, 10 jèn lidè ap chwazi nan fen pwogram nan pou resevwa plis fòmasyon ak zouti, pou yo kapab vin ajan chanjman nan kominote yo.

Yon angajman konkrè pou ranfòse kapasite, retabli konfyans, epi ankouraje yon chanjman dirab.

With the support of the Barbancourt Foundation and other organizations, the Haitian Association of Psychology (AHPSY) is implementing, from February 9 to May 31, a support program for 100 vulnerable young adults aged 18 to 35, from underprivileged neighborhoods in Port-au-Prince.

Guided by a team of 12 professional psychologists, participants receive structured training in stress and emotion management, group facilitation techniques, psychological first aid, and prevention of gender-based violence (GBV). The program is further strengthened by artistic and socio-cultural workshops that promote expression, resilience, and social cohesion.

Group activities also help identify participants with specific needs, who are then referred to individualized support sessions tailored to their situations. With a focus on sustainability, 10 young leaders will be selected at the end of the program to receive advanced training and tools, enabling them to become agents of change within their communities.

A concrete commitment to strengthening capacities, restoring confidence, and fostering sustainable change.
