As the school year comes to an end, we will be spending the summer in Haiti working to repair and prepare the school for the upcoming year. Over time, the harsh conditions and everyday wear in Haiti have taken a toll on our classrooms, and much of our school furniture is now in need of major replacement.

The furniture we currently use has served our students faithfully for more than five years, and this is the first time we have had to replace it. Our goal is to create a clean, organized, and welcoming learning environment for every child who walks through our doors.

We are asking for your help to make these much-needed repairs and replace damaged furniture. All of the furniture will be handmade in Haiti, which not only supports our school but also creates jobs for local workers and families.

Would you consider partnering with us to help get the school ready for the next school year? Every contribution makes a difference and helps provide our students with a better place to learn and grow.

I will post pictures of what needs replacing/repair below. Giving link in comments. 🤍

Who remembers Greg? A few years ago, so many of you helped us build a house for him and his son. Absolutely life-changing. He is a single dad and does it all on his own. He truly tries his hardest to take care of his son with extremely limited resources. His son has been attending school in our community, and it’s time for Greg to pay his school fees (school is not free in Haiti). It is such a blessing his son even has the opportunity to attend school. I see so many kids NEVER get the chance to go to school due to no money. Living Water Missions has the opportunity to help Greg keep his son in school. We can give Greg some work for a few days and pay him so his son can stay in school (his son also desperately needs a new pair of shoes). Please reach out if you would be willing to help us pay Greg and help his son. This is what it’s all about. Love people. Share Jesus. Change lives.

Summer is almost here ☀️, and that means it’s time for one of our favorite traditions…Water Day!

Each year, we celebrate the end of the school year with a day full of laughter, splashing, and sweet treats. The kids get to swim, play in the water, and enjoy ice cream together. It’s always such a joyful, unforgettable day.

For many of our students, this will be their very first time ever getting to play in a pool and enjoy some sweet treats. Moments like this are so special and fun, and it’s a blessing that Living Water Missions Preschool can provide these experiences.

This year, we’ve hit a small bump….our pools have popped, and we need to replace them. We’re hoping to raise $300 to cover two new pools, ice cream, fritay, and other supplies to make the day extra special.

Would you consider helping us end the school year with a splash?

Today we celebrated Labor Day in Haiti! Each year we ask the kids to bring something to help make a meal. Rice, vegetables, meat, fruit… whatever they have. Today the kids enjoyed fresh fruit and Diri ak legume (rice and mashed vegetables) all brought from their homes. I love to see this happen each year. Who would want to try Diri ak legume? It’s one of my favorites!

If you have been to Haiti… what was your favorite meal? Tell me in the comments!

I took this video a few years ago and wanted to share. This is what we pour into each kid at LWM Preschool. Jesus. He is the light in the darkness. A way maker. A miracle worker. A promise keeper. We want these kids and their families to know HIM. What a blessing it is to share the love of Jesus and hear little voices worship Him.

The construction of the House of Hope is paused. The workers are ready.
The vision is alive.
Hope is alive.
Our hearts are full.
We are trusting Him.
The funds just aren’t there yet.
As of right now we have 7 (18 year old) kids waiting.

Waiting for a home to transition into adulthood.
Waiting for hope. Waiting for the place that feels like family since most of theirs are gone.

Did you know we are $36,675 away from finishing construction? (Not including electricity. Not including furnishings. Just enough to complete the building.)

$36,675.
It feels like a big number… until you remember how big our God is.

Scripture reminds us that He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine and I believe with everything in me that He will make a way here too.

The Lord made Haiti my home over 8 years ago and I’m just a girl who loves the Lord and wants to be obedient to His calling. Building the House of Hope is something the Lord has called me to do for HIS GLORY.

And He has made it so clear:
Build this home.
So the kids would have hope after 18.
So His name would be glorified.

But God doesn’t just work through one person. He works through His people.
That means you can be part of this story.
You can help put a roof over their heads. You can help create a place where healing begins. You can help show them that they are not forgotten after 18.

And maybe you’re thinking, “What difference could my gift really make?”

It makes all the difference.
God uses the small things. He multiplies what we place in His hands. Every single dollar moves us closer to opening the doors.

So I’m asking you…
Pray. Ask the Lord what He would have you give. And if He leads you, step out in faith and give.

He is a good and faithful father. He is a promise keeper.

Feel free to share.

Some days in Haiti you just can’t forget. Some people in Haiti you will never forget. I have so many I’ll never forget. But these two… these two are different.

I remember the day they came, and I remember the day they left. Twins. The sweetest twins. There was no mom..just a single dad who couldn’t do it anymore. They were malnourished and weak. They rarely smiled, rarely played.

We spent months loving them, feeding them, teaching them, watching them grow. Watching them start to smile, to play, to gain weight… We all, at the orphanage, loved them as much as we could. And we saw the kind of change that only the love of Jesus can make in little hearts.

The day they left was hard for everyone. Their dad came back after he was finally able to become stable.

Time passed, and we didn’t see the twins for a while. Then one day, someone knocked on my gate. It was a man I recognized and behind him came two little boys.

It was them.

They had grown so much. Their dad asked for work, and we actually had work that needed to be done. It was such a sweet, unexpected reunion. We spent the day playing and fed them until they were full.

These are the days you never forget. The day they come. The day they leave. The day you reunite.

I can’t wait for a thousand more days and a thousand more people I’ll never forget.

Here they are! Our 2026 Living Water Missions shirts 🤍

He will again and again. This is something I remind myself daily. Miracle after miracle. He will do it again.

Cause if He told the sun when to rise
And it did, He will again
And if He told the storm to be still
And it did, He will again
And if He told the sea where to split
And it did, He will again
And if He told the walls when to fall
And they did, He will again
And if He told the chains when to break
And they did, He will again

All proceeds will help us with the construction for the House of Hope. We have made so much progress! Next step in construction is the walls. Our goal is to have construction done/the kids moved in by the end of summer. You can help by purchasing a shirt!

Please allow a few weeks for shirts to be ordered/made.

This video was taken 8 years ago, but it still feels like yesterday. Every Sunday morning, we would gather together for church, and the kids would lead us in worship. Those little voices filled my heart in a way I can’t even fully describe.

I find myself wishing I could go back to those moments… to pause time, to soak it all in just a little longer.

They loved Jesus so deeply then, and they still do. But now, they’re all grown—most of them 18 or nearly there. Watching them grow up has been one of the greatest gifts of my life.

These kids didn’t just pass through a season with me they have continued to be in my life all of these years.

And I will never stop loving them, encouraging them, investing in them, and reminding them of who they are in Him.

This is why the House of Hope matters so much. For them. For their future. For His glory.

Please pray for the House of Hope and the kids it will benefit.

Happy Easter from Living Water Missions Preschool!

Friday, we celebrated the greatest joy of all—HE LIVES! It was such a beautiful and meaningful day as we welcomed over 100 parents and students.

Pastor Benito shared an encouraging message from the Bible with the parents, the children enjoyed coloring special Easter pictures alongside their families, and laughter filled the air during an exciting egg hunt. We ended our time together with heartfelt worship and a shared meal.

This is truly one of my favorite days of the year. Having parents present means so much especially knowing that most of our little ones (just 2 and 3 years old) walk home on their own each day. Moments like these, when families come together, are incredibly special.

Next, we look forward to celebrating Haitian Flag Day and our annual Water Day—more joyful moments ahead!

Bón Fèt Pak tout moun!!!
