Snippets of our Movie Day activity in honour of Children’s Day held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Jacmel Community Centre.
The event sought to provide a space for children to have fun while building connections, learning and using their imagination.
At least 52 children ages 6-12 within the surrounding communities were present at the activity. They were all abuzz with excitement, and after the movie, engaged in quizzes on local history and culture as well as fun games such as musical chairs.
The Committee wishes to thank the Parliamentary Representative, Honourable Wayne Girard, the Roseau Combined School, Jacmel Parents in Action and others who supported this activity. Thank you to Mr. Hinkson for providing transport.
