Violence against women is not a private issue, a family matter, or something to be ignored; it is a serious violation of human rights. Across the world, countless women suffer in silence because of fear, shame, social pressure, or lack of support. Breaking the silence means listening, speaking out, supporting survivors, and challenging the attitudes and systems that allow abuse to continue. A society that stays silent becomes part of the problem; a society that speaks up becomes part of the solution.
