As the Beyond Tokenism: Youth Leading Inclusion project comes to an end, its impact continues. 🌍

We are proud to launch the International Network for Genuine Inclusion, bringing together 40 organisations from 17 countries committed to meaningful participation, equal opportunities and inclusion that goes beyond tokenism.

The project may be ending, but the network is only beginning. Together, we will continue to connect, exchange knowledge and create spaces where every voice is heard and valued.

🎬 Krenula je provedba našeg novog projekta „Iz tišine u javnost“!

Kroz osobne priče gluhih i nagluhih osoba stvaramo prostor za iskustva koja su predugo ostajala nevidljiva.

U okviru projekta nastat će 13 kratkih dokumentarnih videa, pristupačna web stranica i digitalna brošura, s ciljem očuvanja kulturne memorije zajednice i njezina većeg uključivanja u javni kulturni prostor.

Jer svaka priča zaslužuje biti vidljiva, dostupna i ispričana vlastitim glasom. 💙

Danas obilježavamo Međunarodni dan mladih. 💙

Mladi nisu samo budućnost. Mladi su sada.

Zato im trebamo dati prostor da sudjeluju, stvaraju, odlučuju i mijenjaju svoje zajednice. Ne samo simbolično, nego stvarno.

U Udruzi Zaželi vjerujemo u društvo u kojem se glas mladih čuje, njihove ideje pretvaraju u prilike, a različitosti postaju snaga.

Sretan Međunarodni dan mladih! 🌍✨

This sentence best captures what we aim to achieve through the Beyond Tokenism project.

That's why we developed the 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - a document that brings together organizations committed to creating environments where inclusion is genuine, not merely symbolic.

By endorsing the Declaration, organizations commit to:
✔️ meaningful youth participation
✔️ shared decision - making
✔️ transparency and accountability
✔️ continuous learning and improvement of their own practices
