EN: Transition town P**a is a voluntary initiative that works to bolster the city of P**a in the process of creating resilience to the challenges of global warming, the impacts of climate change, peak oil and economic crisis. With a focus on the local community, Transition town P**a sees the challenge as an opportunity to strengthen personal and community well-being and expand the local economy. We strive to unite and work with people who work at building local resilience and sustainability of food, water, energy and other issues of importance to the local community. Our goals relate to raising awareness of the need for joint action to create a resilient community that works to reduce consumption of fossil fuels, greenhouse gas emissions and create self-sufficiency in the economic sense of relying mainly on local production.
