👉Vratili smo se s naše druge europske ekspedicije, ovoga p**a na Cipru, gdje smo se bavili fenomenom povratka na zemlju🌳. Zanimljivo je bilo otkriti koliko su slični problemi s našim nacionalnim kontekstom - ista želja mladih ljudi da se vrate u sela kako bi započeli novi život, bliže prirodi, s održivim načinom života, ali i slične poteškoće s pristupom zemljištu, stanovanju i uslugama 🏡🚌🪵. Ono što nas je posebno dojmilo je velika uloga dijaspore i solidarnosti stanovnika u revitalizaciji ruralnih planinskih područja Cipra.
Nastavljamo daljnju suradnju kako bismo pomogli europskim zemljama u razvoju politika za doček novih doseljenika u planinskim i ruralnim područjima! 🤘

Back from our second European learning expedition in Cyprus !
❗ It is so amazing to discover how similar the issues on "Back to the land" phenomenon are ! Same desire of young people to go back to villages, in order to start a new life, closer to nature, with a sustainable way of living... But also same difficulties regarding access to land, housing and services...
‼️ It is also inspiring to discover national specificities such as the role of diaspora and solidarity.
🙌 Thank you Mount Med and all local actors for welcoming us and coordinating this learning expedition. We are eager to collaborate further, to help European countries develop policies to welcome new comers in mountain and rural areas ! ⚒️ Our project Back To The Land, financed by the European Union, aims at increasing the skills of territorial actors (associations, elected officials, attractiveness agencies, agricultural actors) to welcome and support project leaders returning to the land whether they are agricultural, entrepreneurial or family. It aims to create common and specific training modules for Greece, Italy, France, Cyprus and Croatia. It also aims to launch a community of European actors mobilized around the return to the land at the union level.
We will organize 5 learning expeditions in Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Croatia and France to discover inspiring projects, exchange with local actors and identify common and specific challenges, opportunities and levers for each country.
We will develop a training methodology and specific modules that will be tested in the 5 countries.
We will publish a book integrating projects from other countries, and we will launch the community of European actors in the return to the land.
We wish to produce methodologies for welcoming policy and support for project leaders, supported by a European base but adaptable in the countries. We will mobilize through the project the first nuclei of actors committed to supporting the return to the land in the countries of the project and will launch a community of European actors on the scale of 27 in order to promote and support the return to the land, as a European response to the challenges of transitions.
