SERVICES :
1. To foster co-operation of physiotherapists working in different organizations.
2. To promote and to protect the professional status, and to safeguard the professional interests and rights of the Union members.
3. To obtain and to maintain just and reasonable rates of wages, hours of work and other conditions of employment, and generally to protect the interests of members.
4. To regulate relations and to settle disputes between members and employers, between one member and another and between members and other employees by amicable and conciliatory means.
5. To promote a spirit of mutual respect and understanding between the Union and the employer and to secure the establishment of recognized and permanent machinery for negotiation with the employer.
6. To be concerned with and to participate in the community affairs affecting the interests of the public and the members of the Union.
7. To promote legislation in the interests of professional advancement for the well-being of public health.
8. To promote generally the material, cultural, social, educational and recreational welfare of the members.
9. To establish, carry on or participate in the business of printing a general newspaper, journals, books, pamphlets or other publications which may be thought desirable for the promotion of the interests of the Union and its member.
10. To upkeep the standards of physiotherapy practice in various settings.
11. To organize educational activities and professional training concerning occupational safety and health, legal issues and the well-being of public health.
