🐾 【身世坎坷的 Ulrica：急需暫託 | 籌集醫療費】 🙏

最近我哋接收咗隻令人好心疼嘅狗狗 —— Ulrica 💔

Ulrica 本身由原主人既媽媽照顧，點知媽媽突然喺屋企中風暈到被緊急送院，情況非常嚴重，無法再照顧 Ulrica，鄰居好心幫忙照顧咗幾日，最終搵咗我哋求助。

唔知係唔係知道屋企人出咗事，Ulrica 表現得非常乖巧。就算嚟到陌生既中心、義工幫佢沖涼嘅時候，佢都好安靜咁配合，懂事得令人心疼🥺。

但更心疼嘅係，因為佢持續有屙嘔情況，當我哋帶佢去獸醫度檢查時，獸醫發覺佢身體有異常，經超聲波檢查後，發現佢患有淋巴管擴張症（Lymphangiectasia）：

腸道嘅淋巴管膨脹，導致營養無法正常吸收，蛋白質仲會不尋常咁喺腸道流失。
淋巴結：腹腔內發現中度淋巴結腫大。

現時 Ulrica 嘅情況並不理想😢，佢嘅血清蛋白 (「ALB 」Albumin) 指數嚴重偏低💔，佢而家需要定時食藥、配合特別飲食（低脂處方糧），並需要持續複診檢查、跟進治療。

Ulrica 已經經歷咗好多好多嘅不幸，我哋真係好希望大家可以幫幫咁懂事嘅佢 😭，有個重生嘅機會🍀。

🐶 國慶假期未有節目？不如嚟睇毛孩！🐾 10月1至4號，LAP 會喺荃灣西如心園參加 Ajit singh rathod「貓朋狗友秋日祭」人寵市集！現場除咗有精選 charity sales，期間亦會有尋家狗狗隨時出巡！歡迎大家嚟支持義賣、了解領養資訊，同毛孩見面！🐶10月1至4號，荃灣西如心園見！❤️

🐶 💭「大家好，我係妹豬（Punchi）。不知不覺，我喺 LAP 領養中心已經住咗 5 個月啦…… 呢度雖然有義工哥哥姐姐嘅照顧，但我最渴求嘅，始終係一個只屬於我嘅屋企。」

可能因為以前流過浪、挨過餓，妹豬啱啱嚟嘅時候對好多狗都比較戒備同緊張💔。但係而家嘅佢已經可以同中心好多狗狗成為朋友🥰。

妹豬對人類仲係毫無保留！🫂❤️ 只要你伸手摸摸佢，佢就會即刻露出超級滿足、極度療癒嘅幸福笑臉。喺佢眼裏，你就是佢嘅全世界。🥰

Maybe because of her past life as a stray and the hunger she endured, Punchi was a bit guarded and nervous around other adults dogs when she first arrived 💔. But now, she’s made so many doggy friends at the center! 🥰

When it comes to humans, Punchi holds absolutely nothing back! 🫂❤️ The moment you reach out to give her a belly rub or pat, she immediately flashes a super contented, deeply healing, happy smile. In her eyes, you are her whole world. 🥰

Six months have flown by, and after a few posts, Punchi is still waiting for that special person who truly understands her and is ready to spoil her for a lifetime. 幫肥嘟嘟、親人、三歲的 NOGGIN 搵屋企啦 🐱💛
Help NOGGIN find a home! （Eng below)

Noggin 係一隻虎斑貓，臉上有個好得意嘅「面罩」花紋，圓圓嘅樣同肥嘟嘟嘅身形，真係好似《Mog》繪本系列入面嗰隻又傻又愛主人的貓一樣！

佢今年三歲，唔再係小貓咁百厭，但又仲有好多好多年可以陪你。佢啱啱到中心嗰陣仲好瘦，但做咗牙科手術，之後就開始安心咁食嘢、放心咁生活，慢慢變成依家肥肥圓圓嘅樣

Noggin 好似冇乜好誇張嘅慘痛故事，唔係被虐待、但又唔好多人想要那種「純種貓」。佢就好似一班中間的同學，唔係考第一又唔係考第尾，可能就係咁樣，先會被人睇過眼，一等就等咗咁耐。但諗深一層，好多人領養貓咪，不就是係想搵返一隻健健康康、乖乖哋、冇病冇痛、中中等等的貓咪嗎？

雖然Noggin 喺中心佢好受歡迎, but there‘s nothing better than having a home, 可以自由地走，可以嗲着主人一起睡。Noggin 由五月一直等到而家，仲未等到一個屋企。但佢真係咁乖、咁親人，難以想像會等咁耐，佢鍾意黐人，鍾意攞攬攬，個性溫柔又願意信任人。

希望呢個中秋節，Noggin 可以早日搵到一個真正屬於佢嘅屋企，趕得切貓人月三團圓啦。

Noggin is a tabby cat with the cutest little ”mask“ marking on his face — round-faced and pleasantly plump, honestly looking just like the beloved, goofy, and loving cat from the Mog picture book series!

He‘s 3 years old — past the wild kitten stage, but still with so many years of love ahead of him. When Noggin first arrived, he was much skinnier, but after dental surgery, he finally felt safe enough to eat well and relax — and slowly grew into the round, happy boy he is today.

Although Noggin is quite popular at the centre, there’s nothing better than having a home — somewhere he can roam freely, and cuddle up to sleep next to his owner. Noggin has been waiting since May for a forever home, but it‘s hard to imagine he’s waited this long, given how well-behaved and affectionate he is. He loves being close to people, enjoys cuddles, and has a gentle, trusting personality.

如果你有些少空餘時間，不論只係每星期幾小時，都可以選擇嚟我地中心做義工幫手。

中心全年無休，每日開早十至晚七，對於全義工運作嘅我哋，係非常需要可以定期(特別係平日)嚟幫手嘅義工照顧中心既🐕🐶，帶佢哋外出散步、同佢哋互動、幫佢哋對人建立信任、同清潔打理中心、處理日常事務。

可以幫忙嘅話，請先填妥義工表格，我哋會為你安排簡介會，等你可以邊做邊學並更了解中心既🐶🐕同我哋嘅曰常運作。

If you have a bit of free time—even just a few hours a week—you can volunteer at our center.

We are open daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. As a fully volunteer-run organization, we rely heavily on volunteers who can come regularly (esp. on weekdays) to help care for our dogs 🐕🐶—walking them, spending time with them, building their trust in humans, cleaning the space, and handling daily operations.

If you can help, please complete the Volunteer Application Form first. We will arrange an orientation for you so you can learn hands-on while getting to know our dogs 🐶🐕 and daily routines.

如果你屋企環境許可而你又可以付出多🤏🏻🤏🏻嘅時間，你可以成為我哋嘅暫託家庭，等我哋待家嘅毛孩有一個短期嘅容身之所同感受家庭溫暖。而你幫到嘅仲唔淨只係你暫託嘅🐕🐶，因為你嘅暫託就可以令中心騰出多一個空間等我哋幫多一隻狗。

需要去暫託家庭嘅狗狗有老有嫩、有大有細。同所有🐶🐶一樣，如有需要，暫託家庭需要帶🐶去LAP安排嘅診所複診/打針/絕育 (醫療費用會由LAP負責)，佢哋亦都有可能需要定時食藥，想知更多暫託須知，請參照下一張圖👉🏻👉🏻

❤️‍🩹 Become a Foster Family

If your home environment permits and you can give just a little bit extra of your time, consider becoming a foster family. You’ll provide a temporary home and family warmth for our waiting furkids. Plus, you won‘t just be helping the dog you foster 🐕🐶—by taking one in, you free up a space at the center, allowing us to save one more dog.

The dogs in need of foster families range from young to old, and big to small. Like all 🐶🐶, foster families will need to bring the 🐶 to LAP-appointed clinics for follow-up visits, vaccinations, or neutering/spaying as required (LAP will cover all medical expenses). They may also need to take medication regularly. For more foster guidelines, please refer to the next image 👉🏻👉🏻

We might not be able to save every dog

Udo is a 5-year-old intact male French Bulldog looking for his forever home! Rescued as a stray and transferred from the AFCD, he is currently staying at our dog center. Udo is very friendly with new people and doesn’t take long to warm up. He is neutral towards other dogs on walks, though his reaction to cats is currently unknown. He goes potty both indoors and outdoors, but we aren‘t 100% sure if he is fully house-trained yet.

Important Note: French Bulldogs have unique needs. Please research this breed, their potential health requirements, and the costs associated with potential nostril enlargement surgery before applying.

Udo是一隻 5 歲未絕育的雄性法國鬥牛犬，正在尋找永遠的家！他是從漁農自然護理署 (AFCD) 轉移出來的流浪狗救援犬，目前住在我們的狗狗中心。Udo對人類非常友善，很快就能熟悉起來；在散步時對其他狗狗態度中立，但對貓咪的反應目前未知。他會在室內和室外大小便，不過目前還不確定是否已經完全學會定點如廁。

重要提示：法國鬥牛犬有其獨特的品種需求。在申請領養前，請務必了解該品種、其潛在的健康需求，以及未來可能需要的鼻腔擴大手術相關費用。

非常年輕既🐶Urmi 因前主人要離開香港而被送去漁農處😡，只有約一歲既佢就好似一般嘅拉布拉多貴婦犬一樣活潑好動、精力旺盛～但係喺中心因為義工長期短缺既情況下，佢可以走出房外活動或者出去散步既時間好有限😔，對於咁年輕活躍既佢其實好唔理想，佢需要嘅係有充足嘅體力運動及腦力刺激，所以我哋好希望幫佢搵個暫託家庭，滿足到佢真正嘅需要，更好嘅話就梗係可以搵到一個永遠的家啦🏡🫶🏻。

Very young 🐶Urmi was brought to the AFCD by her previous owner before they left Hong Kong for good 😡. At only around one year old, she’s just like any typical Labradoodle—lively, playful, and bursting with energy!

However, due to an ongoing shortage of volunteers at our Tsuen Wan center, her time outside her room for activities or walks is very limited 😔. For such a young and active dog, this is far from ideal. She needs plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation, which is why we really hope to find her a foster home to meet her true needs—or even better, a forever home 🏡🫶🏻.

Treble’s skin requires a little extra love and care. However, with regular baths and hypoallergenic dog food, her smooth, bright white coat can easily be maintained!
