【Competition Updates 比賽消息】

繼陳諾思勇奪女子花劍個人賽銅牌後，港隊於女子重劍再添獎牌 —— 佘繕妡勇奪銀牌🥈。她繼2018及2025年兩奪銅牌後，再次登上亞錦賽頒獎台，並刷新個人最佳成績。

🤺 佘繕妡一路過關斬將，四強以15：13擊敗日本劍手寺山珠樹；決賽面對哈薩克斯坦的 BAKALDINA Irina雖然輸12:15，但一面銀牌仍是她亞錦賽的最佳成績。朱嘉望於打入16強正是輸給BAKALDINA Irina，最後排名第14。

⚔️ 男子花劍方面，剛獲頒「2024–2025賽季亞洲最佳男子花劍運動員」的蔡俊彥一路打入8強，唯未能衛冕，最終排名第5。張家朗連續兩場險勝15:14後躋身8強亦未再進一步，以第6名完成。何承謙則於16強一劍不敵師兄張家朗，排名第14。

🏆 Following CHAN Nok Sze Daphne’s historic bronze medal in the Women’s Foil Individual event, Team Hong Kong, China added another medal at the 2026 Asian Senior Fencing Championships in New Delhi, India, with HSIEH Sin Yan Kaylin claiming silver🥈 in the Women’s Épée Individual event. Having previously won bronze medals in 2018 and 2025, HSIEH returned to the Asian Championships podium once again and achieved the best individual result of her career.

🤺 HSIEH produced another impressive run, defeating Japan’s TERAYAMA Tamaki 15-13 in the semi-finals to secure a place in the gold medal bout. She eventually settled for silver after a hard-fought 12-15 loss to Kazakhstan’s BAKALDINA Irina in the final. CHU Ka Mong also reached the Table of 16, where she was defeated by eventual champion BAKALDINA, and finished 14th overall.

⚔️ In the Men’s Foil Individual event, CHOI Chun Yin Ryan, recently named the “Best Asian Men’s Foil Fencer In 2024–2025 Season”, advanced to the Table of 8 and finished 5th overall. Defending champion CHEUNG Ka Long also reached the quarter-finals after back-to-back 15-14 victories, eventually placing 6th.

🔥 HO Shing Him Harris narrowly missed out on a place in the Table of 8, falling by a single touch to teammate CHEUNG Ka Long in the Table of 16 and finishing 14th.

🌟Team Hong Kong, China’s individual campaign concluded with two podium finishes:

🏆 2026亞洲劍擊錦標賽於印度新德里舉行，首三日個人賽事已完結，港隊暫奪1銀1銅。

🤺 陳諾思為香港贏得歷來首面亞錦賽女子花劍個人賽獎牌，勇奪銅牌🥉寫下劍擊新一頁。她在八強以15：12擊敗世界排名12的日本劍手辻堇，成功晉身4強並最終收穫獎牌。鄭曉為表現同樣有驚喜，以第6名完成；梁雅蕾則排第16位。

⚔️ 男子佩劍方面，陳樂熹於16強以15：12擊敗世界排名第38位的哈薩克斯坦劍手 SARKISSYAN Artyom，首次躋身亞錦賽個人賽8強。

🔥 女子佩劍賽場上，薛雅齊於16強迎戰世界排名第5、日本「一姐」江村美咲。雙方激戰至最後一劍，薛雅齊以15：14險勝，唯八強未能再進一步最終排名第8。

💪 男子重劍代表何瑋桁及劉昊峯則雙雙打入16強。

🏆 The first three days of individual competition at the 2026 Asian Senior Fencing Championships in New Delhi, India have come to a close, with Team Hong Kong, China collecting one silver 🥈 and one bronze medal 🥉.

🤺 CHAN Nok Sze Daphne made history by winning Hong Kong’s first-ever Asian Championships individual medal in Women’s Foil, claiming bronze🥉 and writing a new chapter for Hong Kong fencing. She secured her place on the podium with a 15-12 victory over Japan’s TSUJI Sumire, the World No. 12, in the quarter-finals. CHENG Hiu Wai Valerie also impressed with a strong run to the Table of 8, finishing 6th overall, while LEUNG Ya Lei Janelle placed 16th.

⚔️ In the Men’s Sabre Individual event, CHAN Lok Hei Royce reached the Table of 8 for the first time at the Asian Championships after defeating World No. 38 SARKISSYAN Artyom of Kazakhstan 15-12 in the Table of 16.

🔥 In the Women’s Sabre Individual event, SIT Summer Fay edged past World No. 5 and Japan’s top-ranked fencer EMURA Misaki 15-14 in a thrilling Table of 16 bout decided by the final touch. She went on to finish 8th overall after reaching the quarter-finals.

💪 In the Men’s Épée Individual event, both HO Wai Hang and LAU Ho Fung advanced to the Table of 16, continuing Team Hong Kong, China’s strong showing across the opening days of competition.
