踏入夏天，坪洲戲院夏季市集正式開始接受檔主報名。獲甄選的檔主將於 6 月中透過電郵收到通知，並請於收到電郵後 7 日內完成租金轉賬以確認及保留檔位。

As summer approaches, Peng Chau Cinema’s Summer Market is now open for stallholder applications. Successful applicants will receive an email notification by mid-June and are asked to complete payment of the stall fee within 7 days of receiving the email to confirm and secure their stall.

【開檔費用 | Stall fees】

室內檔位 Indoor ： HK$200 (1 DAY) ／ HK$400 (2 DAYS)

每檔約 2 x 2 米，附兩張櫈；戲院備有少量檯可供借用，先到先得，不設預留
Each stall is approximately 2 x 2 metres and includes two stools. A limited number of tables is available to borrow from the cinema on a first-come, first-served basis; no reservations.

戶外帳篷檔位 Outdoor (under marquee)：HK$100 （1 DAY) ／ HK$200 (2 DAYS)

每檔約 2 x 2 米，檔主須自備檯；櫈數量有限，先到先得。
Each stall is approximately 2 x 2 metres. Stallholders must bring their own tables. Stools are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

交換／免費贈物檔口 Freecycling / Giveaways: HK$0
須為免費分享性質檔口，惠及社區。
Stalls must operate on a free-sharing basis for neighbours and visitors.

【LO/WASTE 分享會】 日青：製作逆轉碳排放的柴火爐
九年鑽研生物炭的時間，成就了一種既高效又能逆轉碳排放的柴火爐。這次，在鄉郊生活多年的日青將帶著她的田野實驗與火邊故事，與大家談生物炭與碳封存，也談氣候、土地與人的關係。如果你關心氣候危機背後的人文脈絡，嚮往更貼近自然的生活節奏，經常面對園林廢枝，又或者經常開柴火，誠邀你這個下午來坪洲戲院與日青圍圈而坐，把握機會向她請教交流。

• 認識生物炭基本原理，以及它如何幫助把碳留在土壤
• 聽日青分享九年鑽研低碳柴火爐的田野經驗
• 以簡易柴火爐製作生物炭示範
• 討論怎樣運用園林廢枝和柴火煮食，在日常為氣候與土地出一分力

第二日仲開埋二號院（即係以前售票處個櫃位），聽講票房都唔...

今次市集真係好多「第一次」，

搞咗一年幾，老實講我哋真係受寵若驚
然後有檔主搞埋放映體驗，令間戲院終於似返間戲院（雖然係喺枱底放啦），
第二日仲開埋二號院（即係以前售票處個櫃位），聽講票房都唔差喎（以藝術片嚟講其實算好好）
首次兩日都落晒雨
講真，係有啲可惜嘅，但又因為咁，造就咗兩日全坪洲都好靜，唯獨戲院人頭湧湧嘅特殊狀況。
感謝大家都理解市集作為一個街坊市集，對於各樣處理不足上的體諒。

希望下次夏天市集天公造美，唔好再落雨

This market had a lot of “first time “ for us!
First, almost forty vendor applied , so we had to stop taking sign-ups early. We’ve been doing this for over a year now, and we really didn’t expect so many people. Thank you!
One of the stall holders even showed a film, so the cinema felt like a real cinema again (even though the screen was under the table ). On day two, we opened up Hall No. 2 (which used to be the ticket office room). It seems doing very well — especially for art films!
This was also the first time it rained on both days. 
It was a shame, but the rain made the rest of Peng Chau very quiet, while our cinema was full of people, its funny how that worked out.
Thank you all for being patient with us. We are still learning, and we are glad you understand. 
We hope the weather will be nicer for the next summer market, no more rain please!
