We are Environmental Management and Technology Students' Society, HKUSTSU, a student society formed by a group of students that are passionate about the environment and promote the vision for sustainability with effort and passion in UST. We aim to cultivate students' environmental awareness and offer them new perspectives of the emerging green business opportunities. We hope to connect students

由沙田圍出發，途經蝌蚪坪、貓仔山、十二笏、一直去到雞胸山，最後抵達慈雲山🥾🌿 呢條路唔算易行，但大家互相鼓勵、互相等候，每一個笑聲、每一步都係最美嘅風景🏔️希望大家喺欣賞美境嘅同時識到新朋友，玩得開心同製造到難忘嘅回憶🙌🏻 亦希望各位同學仔喺今次體驗後更積極保護環境同自然資源💚 請繼續留意我哋嘅updates同支持我哋嚟緊嘅活動🌱

Our hiking event this year has come to a perfect end! 🥳 A huge thank you to you call from different universities for actively joining the Joint-U Hiking Trip co-organised by EVMTSS, and ⛰️ We hope this journey brought everyone endless positive energy! ⚡

Starting from Sha Tin Wai, passing through Fo Dau Ping, Maau Tsai Shan, Shap Yi Wat, all the way up Chicken Breast Hill, and finally arriving at Tsz Wan Shan 🥾🌿 The trail wasn’t the easiest, but every laugh and every step was the most beautiful scenery of the day 🏔️ We also hope you all will be more proactive in protecting our environment and the natural resources after this meaningful hike💚. On 23 November, the Eco-Forum was successfully held, marking the exciting start of the Career Development Programme (CDP)!🥳

This year, CDP 2025–26 brings together 24 mentees and 10 mentors from diverse environmental sectors, including business, consulting, government, NGOs, and green finance.🎉

We extend our sincere thanks to Ms. Elaine Cheung, Business Development and Sustainability Specialist at Siemens, for her generous silver sponsorship, and to Mr. Henry C. F. In cooperation with the Division of ENVR and the EVMT Alumni Association, the Kick-off Gathering of the EVMT Alumni Buddy Program was successfully held last Saturday, 28 Feb 2026.🥳

Throughout the event, students and alumni exchanged insights about academic life, career paths, and professional development. It was inspiring to see different generations of the EVMT community come together to share advice, stories, and encouragement. We hope that our students were able to gain valuable perspectives and guidance from their alumni buddies.😉
