✈️ Welcome on board Flight RP620! The Rotary Club of Peninsula has officially landed at our 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee! 🎉
On June 20, 2026, we took to the skies to celebrate 50 years of Service Above Self with an unforgettable aviation-themed gala. We were absolutely thrilled to welcome 276 incredible guests flying in from Hong Kong, Macao, Japan, Singapore, the Philippines, Italy, and Mongolia! 🌍✈️
Here are the highlights from our golden celebration:
🛫 The Takeoff
Our members made a grand entrance led by Captain Gary and Captain Joe. We were deeply honored to have Honorable Guest Mr. Clement Woo MH, JP, District Governor Cassy, Chartered Member Wilson, and Past Governor Eric join the flight crew. The evening officially kicked off with a special moment as we accompanied Past Governor Arthur Au to the stage to launch a paper airplane, signaling the start of our next 50-year journey! ✈️✨
🎖️ Honoring Excellence & Community
50 Years of Impact: District Governor Cassy praised our half-century of community dedication. She paid special tribute to our three incredible Past Governors—Arthur Au, the late Johnson Chu, and Eric Chak—who have all received Rotary International’s highest honor: the Service Above Self award.
Shaping the Future: Honorable Guest Mr. Clement Woo highlighted Hong Kong's latest 5-year plan, inspiring us all to share our ideas and suggestions for a brighter future.
Serving with Heart: President Captain Gary expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all Peninsula members. He celebrated the success of this year’s "Triumph to the Sky" project, which directly served underprivileged and SENS (Special Educational Needs) children.🩵

Passing the Torch: We successfully conducted our presidential changeover ceremony on stage, beautifully guided by Assistant Governor Josephine and incoming Assistant Governor Angela. Wish incoming President Joe all the best to lead our club to a new height. Cheers to the new leadership team! 🥂
💃 The In-Flight Entertainment (Party Time!)
The energy was electric! 🎤 Interactor Louis kicked off the fun with a fantastic vocal performance, followed by an inspiring duet of Heal The World by Past Governor Eric and the renowned artist Cleo Ko.
The absolute highlight of the night. An epic dance-off featuring President Gary, President-elect Joe, Ella, and our energetic Rotaractors that got everyone on their feet! The talent kept coming as our sister club guest Mrs. Kato moved us with Subaru, and Chartered President Paolo delivered a classic rendition of My Way. 🎶💃
Many of our guests danced the night away until the very last song! 🕺✨
