The archive includes:

Examples of best practice, showing how standards have evolved throughout the decades; and key moments from major conferences and industry collaborations.

CABE Hong Kong's Technical Visit to the HKU High West Development Project

Participants gained exclusive insights into one of Hong Kong’s landmark campus redevelopment projects, showcasing the latest in modern construction and innovative building techniques. The visit highlighted the application of advanced MiC (Modular Integrated Construction) methods and hybrid structural systems, demonstrating how technology is shaping the future of urban development.

Our sincere thanks go to the project team and HKU representatives for their invaluable sharing and warm hospitality. It was an excellent opportunity for members to exchange knowledge, explore best practices, and connect with peers in a dynamic on-site environment.

Our association's CEO Richard Harral and President Zoe Cox from CABE UK headquarters visited Hong Kong in late March and early April 2026, and also visited the Macau Chapter. During their visit, the CABE Hong Kong Chapter marked its 20th anniversary and hosted a series of enriching and enjoyable events—celebrating the association’s growth and development in recent years under the leadership of Chairman Kyran Sze.

CABEHK CPD Seminar on Drinking Water Safety in Hong Kong

CABE Hong Kong successfully delivered a CPD seminar on 5 March, featuring Ir Dr HF Chan, who shared his professional insights on “Drinking Water Safety in Hong Kong.” The topic attracted strong interest from members, as drinking water quality and safety remain highly relevant to both the industry and the wider community. Participants found the seminar informative and engaging, and many enjoyed the practical perspectives and professional knowledge shared during the session.

CABEHK will continue to organise CPD events on a regular basis to support members’ professional development. We look forward to members’ continued and proactive participation in our upcoming CPD seminars and activities.

We are now two months into the year, and the CABE 2026 CPD Year is now open for logging.

Remember that waiting until later in the year to begin logging CPD can make it harder to remember what activities you did, write up your learning objectives and evidence the learning.

CPD Tips:
▪️Block 10 minutes in your diary each month to log the CPD from the month to upload learning as you go,
▪️Save evidence of completion in one place; and,
▪️Add a short reflection on what you learned and how aided your development.

**First CABE Hong Kong CPD Seminar in 2026**

On 15 January 2025, CABE Hong Kong hosted a CPD seminar at the University of the Built Environment - Hong Kong (UBEHK). A mixture of participants, both CABE Members and UBE students, joined an engaging session on Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) solutions (光伏建築一體化解決方案).

Accompany by Mr. Jonathan Lamport, a newly elected Legislative Council member, Dr. Celeste Lai and Dr. William Lee shared their professional insights. Feedback was very positive, and participants were pleased to learn more about CABE and CABE HK, with many expressing interest in registering for membership to continue their professional development.

The Hong Kong Chapter thanks UBEHK for kindly providing the venue.
