We were delighted to hold the very first CIBSE Hong Kong Region Committee Meeting of the 2025/26 Session.

The CIBSE Hong Kong Region was delighted to participate in the Joint Sport Competition 2026, held on 7 March 2026, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers-Building Services Division (HKIE-BSD), the Institution of Fire Engineers Hong Kong Branch (HKIFE), and the ASHRAE Hong Kong Chapter (ASHRAE HKC).

The event brought together members from the four professional institutions for an engaging war game activity, fostering teamwork, collaboration, and mutual understanding in a dynamic setting. The competition was followed by a networking lunch, where participants enjoyed meaningful exchanges and strengthened professional connections within the building services community.

CIBSE Hong Kong Region extends its appreciation to the organising teams and all participants for their enthusiastic support and contribution to this successful event.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Hong Kong Region for the 2025/26 session was held on 3 March 2026 at The Royal Garden in Hong Kong. Over 30 members attended the AGM. Mr. Ethan P**n, the Chair (2025/26), delivered his annual report; and Mr. Angus Wong, the Honorary Treasurer, presented the financial report for the year of 2025.

Mr. P**n expressed his sincere thanks to all past Chairs, Honorary Advisors, Shanghai Panel and our young members โ€“ YEN for their excellent works, contribution and arranging a series of successful activities to members. Most importantly, he expressed his appreciation towards the support from UK home council.

At the end of AGM, we are thrilled to announce the appointment of our new Chair (2026/27), Ir Prof. Horace Mui, who will be leading the way as we embark on an exciting new chapter at CIBSE! Ir Prof. Mui will spearhead our efforts to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing within the industry.
