NAUWU Studio is a non-proft making Deaf filmmaking and visual arts studio, co-founded by uppercase-D Deaf and lowercase-h hearing. We aim at promoting the discourses of Deafhood and Deaf Gain, the beauty of Deaf View/Image Art (De'VIA) and the very idea of Diversability (Diverse+ability). NAUWU is an acronym for the oft-cited phrase in disability movement/ identity politics - Nothing About Us Without Us.
