ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a proactive and highly organized individual to run to join our team as a Psychological Project Officer. In this role, you will play a central part in bringing HKSPI’s mental health initiatives to life — from coordinating flagship programmes like the Mental Health Fair and the FLOWER Project, to supporting the Executive Team on strategic psychological initiatives. You’ll also supervise interns and volunteers, while keeping daily operations running smoothly.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate, execute, and oversee HKSPI’s psychological and mental health initiatives alongside the team, including the mental health fair, the FLOWER Project and more
- Assist the Executive Team in driving key psychological initiatives
- Supervise and manage interns, volunteers and placement students
- Manage daily administrative and operational workflows to keep the organization running smoothly
- Document standard procedures to streamline future onboarding and internal workflows
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required

REQUIREMENTS
- Current postgraduates, senior undergraduates, or graduates in Psychology (or related disciplines/ non-profit management experience)
- Highly organized with strong administrative and operational abilities to execute complex workflows under tight deadlines
- High level of working independence and self-discipline
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, guide, and coordinate interns and/or volunteer teams
- Proficiency in Canva for design work and marketing campaigns
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for daily tasks
- An excellent command of written and spoken Cantonese and English
- Alignment with our “for youth by youth” philosophy/values

EXPECTATIONS
- Part-time (Hybrid / Flexible)
- Min. 1 day in-office per week, with occasional weekend working required
- Comfortable working in a small, dynamic, and cross-functional team
- Expected start date: As soon as possible

We are looking for a creative and research-minded individual to help design and develop empirically grounded psychoeducational workshops and games (both digital & physical) as a Psychological Innovation Officer. The role involves managing research protocols, collaborating with tech developers, students, and psychology professionals, and supporting funding/competition applications, alongside supervising interns and handling administrative workflows.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ideate, co-design, develop, and evaluate empirically grounded psychoeducational workshops and games
- Execute and manage complex psychological research protocols and operational workflows in HKSPI’s tech-based mental health initiatives
- Collaborate with diverse interdisciplinary teams, including tech developers, high school students, and psychology professionals
- Support the organization’s funding and competition applications
- Execute administrative and organizational duties, including supervising interns and documenting standard procedures
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required

REQUIREMENTS
- Psychology (or related disciplines) graduates or current senior undergraduate or postgraduate students
- Strong experience in psychological intervention research and mental health promotion
- Creative thinker with a strong research and/or tech background
- A proactive, independent, and self-disciplined worker
- Demonstrated ability to supervise intern or volunteer teams
- Interdisciplinary experience in digital mental health, social entrepreneurship, tech, and game co-design is highly valued
- Proficiency in Canva, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
- An excellent command of written and spoken Cantonese and English
- Alignment with our “for youth by youth” values

About the role
The FLOWER Project delivers school-based psychoeducation using innovative means. You’ll be the first point of contact between FLOWER and the schools we work with, and the relationships you start this year are ones we expect to keep for years. It suits someone who is comfortable sending the first email, picking up the phone, and following up without being chased.

Key responsibilities
- Identify and reach out to schools across Hong Kong, building and maintaining a pipeline of prospective partners
- Develop promotional and outreach materials (decks, one-pagers, emails) that explain the programme clearly to teachers and school leaders
- Meet teachers, guidance staff and school leadership to understand their needs, constraints and priorities
- Maintain ongoing relationships with partner schools, including regular check-ins beyond the initial sign-up
- Research Quality Education Fund (QEF) and other relevant funding opportunities, and work alongside schools to prepare and submit applications
- Prepare partnership documents, agreements and related paperwork through to signing
- Travel to schools across Hong Kong for meetings and visits as needed

Who we are looking for
- Final-year undergraduate, postgraduate student, or graduate
- Highly proactive and independent
- Strong written and spoken communication in Cantonese and English; comfortable writing to school principals and teachers
- Genuine interest in some combination of: social impact, education, psychology, and building early-stage ventures
- Organised enough to track many conversations at once and follow up reliably
- Comfortable with ambiguity and with representing the FLOWER Project on your own
- Grant-writing experience or familiarity with QEF is a plus but not required

Traits: Proactive, committed, collaborative, and team-oriented （積極主動、有責任感、具團隊合作精神）
Experience: All experience levels are welcome! Prior experience in research, design, or tech is a plus. （歡迎不同經驗程度的學生；具備研究、設計或科技開發經驗者優先）

⏰ Schedule: Saturday sessions (Hybrid mode, details TBD) / 週六課程（混合模式，細節待定）
