The Chamber encourages both entrepreneurs in Hong Kong and mainland China to actively invest and conduct business in Fiji. The Chamber was founded by Dr. Desmond Lee Y.T., the Republic of Fiji in Hong Kong Honorary Consulate in 2012. And the Fiji’s Ambassador to China, Mr. Esala Teleni and Mr. Truman Bradley, the Executive Chairman at Investment Fiji, are both our honorary presidents. The Chamber
has a full confidence and support of the Fijian Government and the Chinese Government. On the 6th August, 2014, the Fijian Government conferred the Order of Fiji award to Dr. Lee. “The government was grateful for the dedication and commitment that Lee had made for Fiji in the 22 years when he was an honorary consul.” said by Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ratu Inoke Kubuabola. On the 30th June 2014, Beijing China Communication Office was opened which is located in the Embassy of the Republic of the Fiji in Beijing. The opening of the communication office strengthens the network between Fiji, China and Hong Kong. Our mission is to encourage both entrepreneurs in Hong Kong and mainland China to actively invest and conduct business in Fiji. The Chamber serves as a platform for business information and local business environment; establish a unified and efficient business information center and collaboration networks and works directly with Fiji’s Ministry of Trade and Investment. Both Fijian Government and Chinese Government are fully support and endorse such initiative. The Chamber has strong relationship with Embassy of the Republic of the Fiji in Beijing, Investment Fiji, Fiji-China Business Council, Fiji-China Economic & Culture Exchange Center, and Republic of Fiji in Hong Kong Honorary Consulate etc. And it is a pleasure for the Chamber to receive a congratulatory letter from the Prime Minister of Fiji JV Bainimarama. Additionally, it also seeks opportunities to make positive contributions in cultural, social, environmental and educational to the Fiji Communities in which we operate.
香港斐濟總商會於2013年1月17日根據《公司條例》(香港法例第32章)在香港註冊成立。我商會致力於鼓勵與協調香港，澳門，臺灣地區及中國內地的企業家積極到斐濟投資和開展商業活動，為他們構建與斐濟經貿合作的平臺，憑藉我會與斐濟的緊密關係，為眾多企業家們提供相關商業資訊及營商環境,從而建立統一、高效的商業資訊中心與合作網絡，促進與斐濟政府各部門友好合作，將我會辦成為港澳臺地區乃至東南亞值得信賴的商業協會。
