Founded by Dr. Lucy Lord, Dr. Sarah Borwein and Dr. Rulin Fuong, internationally trained doctors with over 20 years of living and working to provide healthcare to the international and local community in Hong Kong. Many non-local patients were particularly vulnerable as they were unaware of discrepancies between Hong Kong's medical system and health care available in their home countries. The Pati

ent Care Foundation was established to help address areas where differences in Hong Kong's health care provision from other global cities (e.g. London, New York, Sydney) might adversely impact vulnerable groups in Hong Kong. It is an overarching charity that supports projects which reduce the impact that differences of race, culture, language, age and disability pose on accessing appropriate healthcare.
