“Good evening, everyone.
It is my honor and joy to welcome all of you to the Hongkong World Icon Leadership Awards 2025.
Thank you for joining us tonight, and for being part of this meaningful celebration.
This event is the result of months of preparation, careful planning, and true dedication from our team.
We may be gathered in a more intimate space tonight, but I believe that makes this moment even more special.
In a smaller room, we feel more connected.
We see each other more clearly.
And we celebrate excellence not from a distance, but heart-to-heart.
Especially for all Awardees coming from Philippines, we know that we have just passed the problems we encountered during the Earthquakes & Thyphoon that some of the awardees cancelled their flights of coming here.
Let’s just pray that next time around they can be with us…
As someone who has spent many years in advocacy, education, and community service, I have always believed that leadership is not measured by position, title, or applause.
Leadership is measured by impact—by the people we uplift, the communities we strengthen, and the lives we are able to touch.
And that is exactly why we are here tonight.
Despite the work I do in my profession and in the organizations I serve, I believe it is important—essential even—to recognize the brilliance, dedication, and sacrifices of others.
True leadership is not about putting ourselves forward, but lifting others up. It is about acknowledging efforts that often go unseen, and giving honor where honor is due.
To all our awardees, congratulations!!
You are here because your commitment inspires others.
Your service reflects integrity.
And your achievements remind us that one person can truly make a difference.
I hope this evening gives you joy, appreciation, and encouragement.
May this recognition strengthen your passion and remind you that your work matters.
Thank you once again for being with us.
