As August arrives, the warmth of summer brings both reflection and anticipation. While many children are enjoying their summer holidays, discovering new experiences and creating lasting memories, we are also preparing for an important new chapter in JCI Tsuen Wan.

Looking back at July, we successfully completed many of our major initiatives for the year, including our flagship projects 「同行・再出發」 and Children's Play Rights, as well as proudly co-hosting President Academy 2026 alongside JCI Harbour and JCI Sha Tin. These milestones would not have been possible without the passion, commitment, and teamwork of every member, partner, and volunteer. Together, we have transformed ideas into action and created meaningful impact within our community and beyond.

August is also the month of our Annual General Meeting, where we will elect the 2027 Board of Directors. Just as children use the summer to learn, grow, and dream about the future, our chapter now prepares to welcome a new generation of leaders who will continue shaping the future of JCI Tsuen Wan.

Leadership is not measured by how long we serve, but by the opportunities we create for those who follow us. One of the greatest masteries we can achieve is to inspire others to lead, to serve, and to believe in their own potential.

As we continue embracing our 2026 theme, "Masteries Unleash," let us celebrate what we have accomplished, look forward with confidence, and continue building a chapter where every member has the opportunity to grow into tomorrow's leader.

【拼出社區新溫度 🧩《同行．再出發》圓滿閉幕！】

大家平日聽得多「爭取權利」，但有沒有想過「實踐責任」更能溫暖整個社區？❤️

由 荃灣青年商會（JCI Tsuen Wan） 主辦的年度社區關懷計劃 ——《同行．再出發》日前已於「形方」圓滿落幕！
這場歷時數月的跨界別社區深耕，成功結集了官、商、民三方力量，走進老人院舍、社區客廳及中途宿舍，把「人類責任（Human Duties）」的理念，轉化為實實在在的溫暖行動！

🧩 拼出「七大人類責任」：由「權利」走向「承諾」
在閉幕禮上，主禮嘉賓們一同拼湊出象徵領袖的「七大人類責任」心形拼圖：

保護生命 • 服務人群 • 可持續的未來 • 追求繁榮 • 尊重人格 • 自我教育並教導他人 • 履行領袖責任

每個人在享有權利的同時，只要多走一步、承諾一份責任，社區就能少一點標籤，多一份包容！

🎨 三大核心行動，看見弱勢群體的「無限可能」
這次計劃最動人的，是以下三個深耕社區的精準服務：

「同行 ‧ 去探訪」 ｜ 培訓 10 位青年義工，親身探訪 40 位認知障礙症長者，送上滿滿關懷。

「同行 ‧ 繪心聲」 ｜ 走進「社區客廳」，陪伴 50 個基層家庭及劏房住戶透過繪畫藝術，畫出心中的夢想。

「同行 ‧ 做木工」 ｜ 與精神復元人士一起「揼木」，透過手作木工藝重建自信，發掘潛能。

💬 籌委會主席饒高賢先生表示：
「每一筆色彩、每一道木紋，都證明了他們不單是被服務者，更是社區的創作者！他們同樣擁有夢想與無限可能。」

🎙️ 跨界專家對談，織緊社區支援網
當日更特別舉辦了《荃心傳意》人類責任分享集會，由楊民彥先生（Steven）客席主持，邀請到來自明愛、善導會、福德保敬老護幼關懷會、耆樂同行及青商代表。
一眾專家指出，實踐「人類責任」其實一點都不遙遠，往往就始於我們日常生活中，關心身邊弱勢社群的一個小選擇。

As we enter July, we celebrate another meaningful milestone in our JCI Tsuen Wan journey. Our flagship community projects, 「同行・再出發」 and Children's Play Rights, are coming to a close after months of planning, dedication, and heartfelt service. While these projects may conclude, the relationships we have built, the lives we have touched, and the lessons we have learned will continue long after the final event.

July also marks JCI Human Duties Week, providing us with an opportunity to reflect on a simple yet important question: Why did we join JCI? For me, the answer has always been about creating positive change—not only for ourselves, but also for our community. Every volunteer hour, every project, and every conversation is another step towards building a better society. Human Duties is not just a campaign; it is the responsibility we embrace as active citizens and young leaders.

Looking back at June, I am incredibly proud that JCI Tsuen Wan represented Hong Kong at ASPAC. We successfully renewed our Three-Alliance Partnership with our sister chapters JCI Malacca City Entrepreneur and JCI Jayakarta, reaffirming a friendship that continues to grow stronger across generations. We were also delighted to strengthen our friendship with JCI Saitama Chuo, creating new international connections that remind us the JCI family truly knows no borders.

As we continue our journey under "Masteries Unleash," let us remember that our greatest achievement is not simply completing projects, but inspiring people, strengthening communities, and leaving a positive impact wherever we go.
