中國香港代表隊於第33屆亞洲青少年個人錦標賽勇奪兩金五銅
中國香港壁球代表隊於中國四川省攀枝花市圓滿完成的第33屆亞洲青少年個人錦標賽中表現出色，合共奪得兩面金牌及五面銅牌的佳績。
男子U13組別方面，頭號種子梁敖燊於決賽迎戰3/4號種子、印度球手Amarya Bajaj。梁敖燊在先失兩局（5-11、8-11）的情況下，展現出頑強鬥志及出色調整能力，連追三局（11-9、12-10、11-6），最終以局數3比2反勝對手，勇奪金牌。
這面金牌別具意義，因為梁敖燊成為自2008年以來首位在亞洲青少年個人錦標賽男單項目奪金的中國香港球手。
女子U19組別方面，2號種子鄧凱琳於決賽迎戰馬來西亞3/4號種子Whitney Isabelle Anak Wilson。鄧凱琳發揮穩定，以局數3比1（11-7、11-8、4-11、11-3）勝出，勇奪金牌。
這亦是鄧凱琳連續第四屆晉身亞洲青少年個人錦標賽決賽。她過往曾於女子U15組別奪金，並於女子U17組別取得一金一銀，今屆再於女子U19組別登上冠軍寶座，延續強勢表現。
遺材賽方面，幾位港將同樣表現不俗。謝嘉進在男子U13遺材賽決賽以2比0（11-7、11-4）擊敗中國球手Xiao Ruiting，奪得冠軍；梅天曉則在特別遺材賽決賽中以2比0（11-4、12-10）擊敗印度球手Aaron Arambhan，同樣取得冠軍。
女子U13方面，林恩如於遺材賽決賽以2比1（11-9、5-11、11-8）力克中國球手Hong Zhiya奪冠；張曉雯則在特別遺材賽決賽以0比2（4-11、4-11）不敵馬來西亞球手Nuie Chew，取得亞軍。
代表隊昨日在主賽圈已取得五面銅牌，包括女子U15鄧正心、林雨葉，女子U17盧沛言，以及女子U19張芷晴及鄺恩琳，連同本日男子U13梁敖燊及女子U19鄧凱琳所增添的兩面金牌，代表隊在本屆賽事以兩金五銅的佳績作結。

Team HK, China Wins Two Golds and Five Bronzes at the 33rd Asian Junior Individual Championships
Team Hong Kong, China delivered an outstanding performance at the 33rd Asian Junior Individual Championships, which concluded in Panzhihua, Sichuan, China, capturing two gold medals and five bronze medals.
In the BU13 event, top seed Leung Ngo San faced India’s 3/4 seed Amarya Bajaj in the final. After dropping the first two games 5-11 and 8-11, Leung showed remarkable resilience and strong composure, fighting back to win the next three games 11-9, 12-10 and 11-6 to claim a thrilling 3-2 victory and the gold medal.
This gold medal was particularly meaningful, as Leung Ngo San became the first Hong Kong, China player to win the Boy’s title at the AJIC since 2008.
In the GU19 event, second seed Tang Helen faced Malaysia’s 3/4 seed Whitney Isabelle Anak Wilson in the final. Tang Helen produced a solid performance to prevail 3-1 (11-7, 11-8, 4-11, 11-3) and capture the gold medal.
This also marked Helen’s fourth consecutive appearance in an Asian Junior Individual Championships final. She previously won the GU15 title, later added a gold and a silver in the GU17 event, before returning to the top of the podium in the GU19 category this year.
In the plate events, several Hong Kong, China players also delivered strong results. Tse Ka Chun won the BU13 Plate final with a 2-0 victory over China’s Xiao Ruiting (11-7, 11-4), while Mei Tianxiao Simon claimed the Special Plate title by defeating India’s Aaron Arambhan 2-0 (11-4, 12-10).
In the GU13 category, Lam Yan Yu Hayley captured the Plate title with a 2-1 win over China’s Hong Zhiya (11-9, 5-11, 11-8), while Cheung Hiu Man finished runner-up in the Special Plate final after a 0-2 defeat to Malaysia’s Nuie Chew (4-11, 4-11).
Team Hong Kong, China had already secured five bronze medals in the main draw yesterday, courtesy of Tang Ching Sum and Cassidy Makaela Lin in the GU15 event, Lo Pui Yin Chloe in the GU17 event, and Cheung Tsz Ching and Kwong Ena in the GU19 event. Together with the two gold medals won by Leung Ngo San and Tang Helen today, the team concluded the tournament with two golds and five bronzes.
