MEP - Millennium Entrepreneurship Programme 「MEP (Millennium Entrepreneurship Programme)」讓學生從多角度研習社會議題，從而鞏固全面思考能力，在生活中實踐與個人及社會環境相關的企業計劃。

由香港和富扶輪社與和富社會企業主辦之「MEP (Millennium Entrepreneurship Programme)」是以三方合作模式推行，參與者包括學校、商界及非牟利團體。計劃旨在讓學生從多角度研習社會議題，從而鞏固全面思考能力，在生活中實踐與個人及社會環境相關的商業計劃。

MEP (Millennium Entrepreneurship Programme), organized by Rotary Club of Harmony and Prosperity Hong Kong and Wofoo Social Enterprises, is a tripartite project between the schools, business sectors and NGOs. It is designed to enhance students’ abilities in

project planning and develop multiple perspectives on perennial social topics of their daily life experiences, thus to shape them as an all-round thinker, to actualize their feasible and sustainable business proposals with ethical considerations in changing social circumstances.

Starting 2026 with Inspiration! 💡 MEP's January Learning Expeditions

What better way to kickstart 2026 than with hands-on learning experiences aligned with our competition's SDGs?

😁 Throughout January, our MEP participants had the incredible opportunity to explore innovations addressing pressing social challenges through visits to our partnered organizations:
⚡ 中電鐘樓文化館 CLP Pulse welcomed our teams to their historic clock tower building, demonstrating sustainable development approaches through their "ElectriCity" exhibition which traces power industry evolution and its impact on Hong Kong. Students explored how CLP promotes decarbonization initiatives that align with SDG 11 - Sustainable Cities and Communities.

🏙️ The Henderson, recently named "World's Best Property" at the International Property Awards, showcased their revolutionary sustainable architecture with innovative features like the 4,000 energy-efficient curved glass panels designed to withstand typhoons and reduce carbon emissions. Students learned how the building's smart systems and state-of-the-art air curtain allow tenants to reduce energy consumption through automation. An exceptional example of forward-thinking design addressing climate resilience and energy efficiency!

🌱 MetaBio生物波科技有限公司 showcased their cutting-edge AI-driven health optimization program - a brilliant example of SDG 3 in Good Health and Well-being! Students were impressed to learn that 93% of employees now consider wellbeing as important as their salary, highlighting how preventive health technologies can deliver measurable ROI while improving employee quality of life.

🚗 Tesla provided invaluable insights into their journey beyond being just an automobile company to becoming a corporate champion for sustainability and energy transformation. Students learned about Tesla's cutting-edge technologies and their mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy - demonstrating how businesses can drive meaningful environmental impact at scale.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks 🥰 to LINK Sustainability Lab, LU Jockey Club Gerontech-X Lab, and Hong Kong Federation of Women's Centres for their inspiring workshops that broadened our students' understanding of sustainable innovation, technology, and gender equality initiatives.

Together, these experiences complement our business ideation and proposal writing workshops, equipping students with the knowledge to develop impactful social enterprise solutions for our "Shaping a Sustainable Future and Better Living" theme.

In November, we kicked off the MEP26 Opening Ceremony. A heartfelt thank you to our guest speakers, school representatives, mentors, students, and partners for launching a new season of the Millennium Entrepreneurship Programme with us 🚀.

As 2025 comes to a close, I'm thrilled to watch our mentors and student teams embark on this transformative journey—embracing curiosity 🤔, taking bold steps 🏃, and materializing innovative ideas. This year's theme, “Shaping a Sustainable Future and Better Living,” guides our efforts as we refine proposals, enhance pitches, and leverage the right resources to advance each team's project.
