Hong Kong is home to 155,000 hearing-impaired, yet we only have 7 'official' deaf national sports teams. Unfortunately, Deaf athletes in Hong Kong aren't eligible for Hong Kong Sports Institute Elite Training Grant for Athletes with Disabilities (ETGD) sponsorships.
Deaf Rugby is one of our core programs within the Community Foundation, and a dozen of our Hong Kong deaf rugby players have now an opportunity to experience the Deaf World Cup this April, in Cordoba, Argentina.
Some of the players back in 2018 were fortunate enough to attend the first-ever Deaf Rugby 7s World Cup in Sydney, and we are seeking your support for the same opportunity for these players this April!
The fundraising campaign aims to raise HK$200,000, but any support is greatly appreciated.

聾人欖球發展是我們社區基金會的核心項目之一，我們有些隊友很幸運能夠參加 2018 年在悉尼舉行的首屆世界七人制錦標賽，現在我們十多位香港聾人欖球運動員將有機會體驗今年四月在阿根廷科爾多瓦舉行的聾人世界杯。我們希望得到您的支持，讓這12 名球員獲得這個機會參與 4 月的世界賽。
