Theo found a newt in a stream on top of a mountain in Hong Kong over the weekend. Being an Aquanaut, he carefully caught it to observe and then let if go. Newts are a type of salamander. Some newts produce toxins in their skin to protect them against predators. Female newts produce large quantities of eggs. If we can keep our oceans, streams and ponds clean, newts will be able to thrive.

Vanessa and Lucas are in Grade 3. They hope that when they have children of their own, dolphins will still swim free within the waters of Mother Earth!

Another weekly share from our Aquanauts Junior

Theo says that his favourite underwater creature is the Great Manta Ray! He knows a lot of information about stingrays. They are incredibly unique and seemingly fly through the waves!

Penguins are such beautiful and cute animals and they deserve our protection. Pollution, climate change, overfishing and loss of habitat are threats penguins are currently facing. Together, we should stop this to help all animals and creatures. By: Noah Chan

A day out with 2 of our Aquanauts Juniors in Hong Kong, Noah was particularly thrilled, as he just shared his thought about 🐧 Penguins!!
