Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit proposals for in-person workshops to be held in conjunction with ICDE 2025.
The purpose of the workshops is to provide a forum for exchanging opinions, presenting ideas, and discussing preliminary results in an interactive atmosphere.

๐ป Submission Guidelines
Workshop proposals should be submitted directly to the workshop chairs at the email below. Submissions should be at most 4 (four) pages long and in the same format as conference research papers. Clarity, completeness, and brevity are important aspects of a successful proposal.
โญ ICDE 2025 provides:
* A link on the ICDE 2025 site
* Registration management for participants
* Meeting space & related equipment
* Coffee-breaks arrangements
โญ Workshop chairs hold the main responsibility to:
* Set up & host a workshop website
* Prepare & issue the CfP, manage the submission & review process
* Coordinate paper deadlines & acceptance notifications with the ICDE Workshop Chairs
* Provide input for publicity to the local ICDE organizers
* Provide a brief workshop description to include on the ICDE website
* Coordinate with the ICDE 2025 proceedings editors to collect: (a) CR copies of the papers & (b) signed copyright forms
* Schedule workshop activities in collaboration with the ICDE 2025 local organizers to adhere to a timetable that facilitates catering
* Inform the Workshop Chairs of the numbers of submissions & acceptances as these become available
* Workshops with < 15 expected registrants may be canceled at the discretion of the conference organizers.
* Only accepted workshops are official ICDE workshops & enjoy the above support.
* Workshop proceedings will be published with the conference proceedings. All papers should have the same format as conference research papers.
๐ก A workshop proposal can be up to 4p and should contain all pertinent information:
1. Main Content:
* Workshop title
* A short (150-200 words) abstract of the topic & workshop format
* A detailed explanation of why the proposed workshop is appropriate for ICDE 2025
* Names & contact information of the workshop organizers
* Special considerations regarding proceedings (if any)
2. Organization
* Tentative schedule including paper submission deadline, notification deadline, etc. The CR deadline must be on/before 25/03/25.

* Expected number of participants
* In case of previous instances of the workshop:
- the historical numbers of participants
- the historical submission and acceptance counts
* Preferred workshop duration (half day or full day)
* A description of the submission review process, including how COIs will be handled
* Rationale about recruiting the PC of the workshop, e.g, diversity considerations (academia/industry, geography, gender, seniority).
These criteria should also be taken into account for the choice of the PC Chairs of each workshop.
