Technologies for the Elderly and Disabled people by Youths The Project comprises three related programmes which utilise the University’s strengths in immersive visualisation technology.

TEDY (Technologies for the Elderly and Disabled people by Youths) is an education and community programme under The Jockey Club Enhancing Youth Empathy Project through Immersive Visualisation. Jockey Club Enhancing Youth Empathy Project through Immersive Visualisation

The Jockey Club Enhancing Youth Empathy Project through Immersive Visualisation enables young people to develop compassion for 1)

the elderly and disabled, 2) ethnic minority groups, and 3) nature and the environment. Young people will be encouraged to develop their skills through “perspective-taking” and “role-taking”, and create innovative solutions to the challenges and problems faced by the service targets. 賽馬會「見.同理」計劃

賽馬會「見.同理」計劃共分為三個子項目,旨在讓香港青年於以下三方面建立同理心,分別是一)長者及殘障人士、二)在港少數族裔及三)環境及自然生態。本計劃將利用城大於虛擬實境方面的技術優勢,鼓勵香港青年透過「觀點取替」及「角色取替」方式發展不同技能,繼而以創新方法協助服務對象面對挑戰及解決疑難。TEDY 屬於第一個子項目。
