The HKUSTAA Team spent a quiet Sunday afternoon at the HKUST Alumni Commons for our Therapeutic Photography Workshop. Though the weather wasn’t ideal, the gray skies did not dampen the enthusiasm of our participants.

Instead, the overcast weather provided a perfectly calm, reflective backdrop for this intimate session. It was wonderful to see everyone slow down, look inward, and successfully find a sense of inner peace through the lens.

Thank you to the participants who joined us and shared this meaningful space today.

Explore & Connect Tokyo 2025 — Our Flagship Alumni Trip (11-14 Sep 2025)

Tokyo delivered—and we raised the bar. We stepped inside the world of anime at TMS Entertainment 🎬, sparked ideas at FabCafe Tokyo 💡, then swapped trains for street karts and rode across Shibuya ​​✨. Evenings turned into memories: sizzling BBQ 🔥, silky sukiyaki 🥢, izakaya cheers 🍶, and late-night ramen 🍜. A J‑League night wrapped the day in pure atmosphere and adrenaline ⚽🙌.

But the headline wasn’t the itinerary—it was the people. We laughed hard, shared stories, and left with deeper connections—especially with our Tokyo-based alumni community 🤝. After 11 years since our last alumni trip to Beijing, this flagship event reminded us who we are: a community that shows up, levels up, and builds friendships that last 💙.
