S4All Hong Kong S4All is one of Hong Kong's leading Performing Arts education organisations. A registered charity, S4

William Shakespeare has been called ‘the world’s playwright’, and we at S4All know better than most the way in which his work can be performed and ‘played’ by children have been born 400 years after him on a different continent and from a completely different culture! Performing and interacting with Shakespeare continues to be at the centre of our work, however, in response to the needs of our stu

dents we have widened the scope of S4All to include the work of other playwrights, poets and novelists. In revitalising the program we will also fulfil its mission and purpose so that S4A about more than just achieving greater proficiency in English. We have created new, exciting programmes that are focused on developing interpersonal, intrapersonal, communication skills and self-confidence.

🏛️ The Gala Production 2026 Character Spotlight: Apollo and Ares. Apollo is the god of music, poetry and light. Ares is the god of war. As brothers, they could not be more different.

⚔️ Shakespeare’s Orlando becomes Apollo, a young man with natural nobility and a creative spirit that his older brother has tried to suppress. Shakespeare’s Oliver becomes Ares, whose anger and ambition fuel the conflict that sends Apollo towards a dangerous public challenge.

👊 When Apollo enters Hades’s wrestling arena to face the mighty Heracles, the stakes are more than a contest of strength. It is a fight for dignity, freedom and the right to be seen.

🏛️ The Gala Production 2026 Character Spotlight: Aphrodite and Artemis, when power demands obedience, friendship becomes an act of courage.

🌟 Aphrodite, Shakespeare’s Rosalind, is the daughter of the exiled Zeus. Artemis, Shakespeare’s Celia, is Hades’s daughter, yet her loyalty lies with her cousin. When Aphrodite is banished from Olympus, Artemis refuses to let her face the unknown alone. Together they escape to Arcadia, where they adopt new identities: Aphrodite disguises herself as the mortal boy “Ganymede”, and Artemis becomes “Aliena”.

🌙 Their journey unlocks the play’s wit, romance and joyful confusion. At the heart of this adventure is a friendship bold enough to defy a god.

The ‘Shiona Carson Award for Excellence 2026’ belongs to five students who have shown us what dedication, courage and generosity look like in real time, especially collaborative spirit that defined our beloved late former Artistic Director, Ms. Shiona Carson legacy.

S4A is so proud to celebrate:
💜 Jasie
From Battle of the Bards to this year’s Gala Production, Jasie has grown into a performer who leads with heart and professionalism. Next stop: vocal training to give every line even more power and colour.

💜 Jason
Once a quiet Chinese-drama student, now a full-hearted English musical-theatre lover. His Best Improved Award was just the beginning: The Face Productions Youth Musical Programme awaits.

💜 Kary
Three consecutive Gala Productions awards in: Special Commitment, Most Dedicated and Most Professional awards. Inspired by HKAPA performers, Kary will enrol in HKAPA EXCEL courses to keep pushing her creative and storytelling boundaries.

💜 Taeyang
A remarkable nine-year S4A journey. From the early Gala Productions through different characters with Outstanding Contribution, Team Leader, Best Performer and commitment awards. Taeyang will channel the award into renting space and creating an original short film or project with other young performers to carry Miss Shiona’s legacy forward.

💜 Yoyo
Four consecutive Gala Productions and two Best Use of Movement Awards. Yoyo ready to take her dance talent further with the Hong Kong Dance Company and inspire the next generation of young dancers.

The ‘Shiona Carson Award for Excellence’ will help them access high-quality training, create new work, and bring professional skills back to their communities. True excellence shines brightest when we grow together.

💜 Jasie
由「詩人遊戰」走到今年嘅週年匯演，Jasie 已經成長為一個用真心同埋專業帶領自己、隊友嘅表演者。下一步：聲樂進階訓練會令佢每一句嘅對白更有力量同埋色彩。

曾經係安靜嘅中文話劇學生，而家已經變成全心全意愛上英文音樂劇嘅人。得到最佳進步獎只係佢嘅開始，「Face Productions 青年音樂劇計劃」正等緊佢嘅展開新嘅旅程。

💜 Kary
連續三屆週年匯演，攞過「特別奉獻獎」、「最投入獎」同埋「最專業表演者獎」。受香港演藝學院表演者嘅啟發，Kary 將會報讀香港演藝進修學院嘅課程，繼續突破自己嘅創意同埋說故事嘅界限。

💜 Taeyang
長達九年嘅小莎翁旅程，由早期嘅週年匯演中演過唔同角色，攞過「傑出貢獻」、「團隊領袖」、「最佳表演者與投入」獎。Taeyang 會用哩個獎租用一個空間，同其他年輕表演者一齊創作短片或者其他企劃，繼續延續夏頌寧女士嘅精神。

💜 Yoyo
連續四年參與週年匯演，兩度奪得「最佳肢體運用獎」。Yoyo 準備再次提升自己嘅舞蹈天賦，報讀香港舞蹈團，啟發下一代年輕舞者。

🌍 The Hong Kong Jockey Club Community Project Grant: ’Shakespeare Showtime‘ English Drama Programme - Globe on the Go Highlight! What an incredible journey! Our school touring programme has successfully come to a close.

🎉 Professional actors brought ’Macbeth‘ to life across Hong Kong schools with captivating one-hour performances that made Shakespeare accessible, intersting and unforgettable. This year S4A will be visiting a total of 20 local schools and has already reached over 2,500 students, with five more schools still to come in September!

✨ Funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, every show sharpened students English, explored big emotions through storytelling, and experienced the magic of short-distance theatre right in their own school.

❤️ Over the past decade, S4A reached more than 200 schools and over 30,000 students, creating lasting impact and lifelong memories. Thank you for an unforgettable adventure, and here’s to inspiring the next generation!

🌍 香港賽馬會社區資助計劃：「莎劇好時光」英語計劃 - 「Globe on the Go」學校巡演精華回顧！好精彩嘅旅程！我哋嘅學校巡迴演出已經圓滿結束啦！

💌 A banished duke, a witty heroine who disguises herself as a boy, a lovesick young man writing poetry on trees; And a forest that turns everything upside down.

🌲 In the Forest of Arden, love is tested, identities are swapped, and life becomes a little freer, a little wiser, and a lot more playful.

❤️ At its heart, ‘As You Like It’ is a celebration of love, friendship, nature and the freedom to reinvent yourself. It is light yet profound, funny yet deeply human, a play that continues to charm audiences more than four hundred years after it was written.

✨ Now reimagined by S4A: ‘As You Like It: Tales from Olympus’ (Adapted & Directed by Nicholas Beckwith).

🏛️ What happens when this timeless comedy meets the gods of Greek mythology? The Forest of Arcadia becomes a mythical realm of exile, transformation and wonder. Gods command the skies.
