HONG KONG’S BEAUTIFUL SHORELINE NEEDS YOU!

We’re organizing a one-day ghost net cleanup in Sai Kung on June 28th, and we’re looking for passionate divers to join us!

What we’re looking for:

- Divers in advance skill level interested in getting involved long-term in marine conservation
- Underwater photography skills
- Strong safety awareness

Bonus points if you:

- Prior project or technical diving experience
- Familiarity with Hong Kong waters
- Are a true team player!

Event Details:

- Cost: The event is free of charge. However, participants must bring their own diving and working equipment.
- Selection: Due to limited seats and safety considerations, a brief interview will be required before confirming attendance.
- Flexibility: To ensure the highest impact and maintain safety standards, we reserve the right to make adjustments to the event, including dates and crew.

On May 3rd, thanks to the support of and .group , along with the divers from , we took action to protect Hong Kong’s beautiful shores.

Even though another group had cleaned this site recently, just 10 days later, the tide brought in a shocking amount of debris. We found everything from ghost nets and single-use plastics to medical waste and broken boat parts.

In just 90 minutes, we cleared the beach of all visible trash by hand. It’s amazing to see how we can make a real difference with minimal risk and maximum effort!

We are planning more cleanups—both above and below the water. Stay tuned for updates!

Little Palm Beach in Hong Kong features a beautiful pebble shore and is a gentle, reliable spot for new divers and swimmers.

We’re organizing a small beach clean-up event, open to all followers of Ghost Diving Hong Kong. Come join us to help clean the beach and regroup as a community!

We also have some exciting news: we have a handful of ghost diving events planned in Hong Kong!
