GHSPSA Hosts Career Sharing Event with Alumni and S.4 Students
On February 12, 2026, GHSPSA organized an inspiring career-sharing event, bringing together 24 alumni from the Classes of 1978 to 2022, representing a wide range of industries, to engage in small-talk circles with 234 S.4 students. The event offered students a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into various career paths and learn from the experiences of past students.

In the backdrop of the elegant Helena May on Garden Road, there emerged 40 Good Hopers trying to cheer in a lady like euphoria.

Sister Mary showed us the window of her room in the new residence of Villa Opale at Lachine, Mr Dominic Lee kept his arrival secret till he appeared at the reception, joining us after two hours were two MIC past boy students from Good Hope and Tak Shun, and Malou Ko, our Vice Chair showed us her award winning design porcelain table ware and a quick peek into the next PSA souvenirs.

But the best of all was the Hopers catching up, photos, and more photos.

We invite you to an intimate high tea in honour of Sister Mary. This elegant gathering promises exquisite refreshments and, more importantly, the privilege of personal connection with our beloved guest of honour, Sister Mary whose grace and stories will inspire you.

GHSPSA Launches Annual Mentorship Program for S4 and S5 Students

The annual mentorship program successfully commenced on Saturday, November 1, 2025. We are delighted to have 32 dedicated mentors, representing alumni from the classes of 1985 to 2021 across nearly 20 different industries.

To facilitate meaningful connections, the PSA organized a “triple dating” session to match mentors and mentees, resulting in an impressive near 1-to-1 ratio.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the GHS Career Team for their thoughtful planning and to all the participants for their commitment.

We wish all our students a rewarding and impactful mentorship experience!

This past October 18th, GHSPSA in collaboration with SoCo, hosted a meaningful event for our alumni and their families.

We started by visiting a ”Trapped Experience Centre,“ where an immersive simulation and moving stories from former sub-divided flat residents gave us a deeper understanding of Hong Kong‘s housing challenges.

Then, we moved to SoCo centre in Sham Shui Po. There, we assembled 100 care packages and ended the night by handing them out to street sleepers in a nearby park, sharing warmth and connection with our community.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined and to SoCo for making this impactful collaboration possible!

Hand in Hope with the young Life experience at the Base layer

Explore a different World: A ”Cage Home“ Experience & Community Service

Witness the stark reality of Hong Kong‘s housing poverty. Visit the ”Cage Home Museum,“ a unique exhibition in Tai Kok Tsui that recreates the cramped living conditions of grassroots households on a one-to-one scale. Led by residents who share their personal stories, this tour offers an intimate look into a struggle faced by thousands.

Following this eye-opening tour, we will channel to the service center, where we will assemble care packages for street sleepers.

Details:
Participants: Alumni and one accompanying guest aged 6 or above.
Duration: Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Fee: $460 per group. (All proceeds directly support the organization)

與希望「童」行* 基層生活體驗

體驗狹窄生活空間：走進「侷住體驗館」，看見基層住屋真實面貌

香港寸金尺土，居住問題一直是社會關注的焦點。為了讓公眾親身感受基層市民的生活實況，香港社區組織協會於大角咀一座舊式唐樓內，設立了「侷住體驗館」。這個空間以一比一的比例，真實還原基層家庭在狹窄及不適切居所中的生活環境。

體驗館的最大特色，是由無家者或居於不適切住房的街坊親自擔任導賞員。他們不僅帶領參觀，更分享自身的生命故事與居住經歷，讓參加者從第一身角度，理解基層市民面對的住屋困難與日常生活挑戰。

館內除了重現狹窄的居住環境，更擺設了懷舊的日常用品，配合特別設計的室內燈光，形成一個具反思意義的「打卡」場景。

參觀體驗後，參加者將一同前往中心，為無家者製作生活用品包，以行動表達關懷與支持。

活動詳情：
- 對象：舊生及帶同一位6歲或以上人士
- 時長：約1小時30分鐘（包括展覽導賞及用品包製作）
- 費用：每組$460（收益將用於支持導賞員服務發展及基層居民扶貧工作）

📣 Recruitment of Volunteers for Student Programmes 2025-26 ‼️
PSA keeps working with the Careers Team of GHS Secondary Section to provide tailored careers programs for our senior secondary fellows. This is a great chance for us to connect with our alma mater and share our expertise.
🆘 We now recruit volunteers for these two service opportunities – mentor and mock interviewer.

1️⃣ Mentorship Programme for S4 & S5 Students (Nov 25 – Jun 26)
❖ Attend the mentorship kick-off ceremony on 1 Nov 2025 (Sat) at 10:30am
❖ Become a mentor for a fellow GHS girl from S4 & S5 for 1 year + with a min. of 2 in-person meetings with your mentees
❖ 1 mentor will be responsible for 2-3 mentees.

2️⃣ University Entrance Interviewing Skills Workshop for S6 Students on 22 Nov 2025(Sat) pm
❖ Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback to help improve their interviewing skills!
