Sunpride Foundation 驕陽基金會 Sunpride Foundation was launched in 2014 with the mission to embrace and promote the rich creative history of LGBTQ community.

The SUNPRIDE FOUNDATION embraces the rich creative history of LGBTQ community. By exhibiting and preserving art that speaks to the society at large, it aims to foster a stronger, healthier and more equitable world for LGBTQ people and their allies; and to encourage and inspire a generation of young artists to take action and create positive changes to the LGBTQ experience.

驕陽基金會以LGBTQ族群豐富深厚的創作歷史為傲。 透過展覽及典藏具有與大眾對話、引發社會共鳴力量的各類型藝術作品；並藉由鼓勵新生代藝術家用創作來為LGBTQ族群發聲，驕陽基金會希望用藝術的力量建構一個更團結、健康、平等的社會。

A Review on “Spectrosynthesis Seoul” at Art Sonje Centre by Philippe Riss-Schmidt and Myron Kim

“The exhibition begins before you enter. Sin Wai Kin's ESSENCE (2024) runs on an LED screen installed in place of the museum's main entrance, formatted as a luxury fragrance advertisement.”

“Inside, the basement Art Hall is where the exhibition finds its most concentrated register. Young-jun Tak's "Their Fear in Our Opening" (2026) hangs at the entrance: two wooden sculptures showing the faces of two men carved onto the bodies of po***ck, a fish traditionally believed to ward off evil.”

“On the second floor, the exhibition opens with siren eun young jung's Sick Seoul (2026), a four-channel video that follows q***r citizens who participated in the street protests after the martial law declaration of December 2024. “

With his own perspectives on gender, kinships, and motherhood, Jes Fan has been exploring the concept of “otherness” in his field and discussing the relationship between binary body and identity through his practice. Sculpture is Fan’s major medium, exploring the concept of bio-politics with his concerns on the topics of diaspora experience, transgender identity, neo–materialism and posthumanism.

范加對性別、親屬關係和母性擁有獨特的解讀，其跨領域實踐從持續研究「他者化」的概念出發，探討兩性身體和身份的關係。范加主要以雕塑為媒介探索生物物質性的概念，關注遷移經歷、跨性別身份、新物質主義和後人類主義等議題。

Haneyl Choi (b.1991, Seoul, Korea) is a sculptor who explores sculpture’s formative potential as a narrative framework, yielding symbolic configurations of individuals, archetypes, and sites of encounter that engage multiple visual perspectives and elicit indeterminate interpretations. In his body of work, the ambiguity that pervades Choi’s oeuvre informs his ongoing inquiry into sculpture’s expressive potential as both signifier and signified, and bespeaks his critical stance toward identity politics, consumer culture, normative social structures, and postmodern discourse in contemporary art.

崔河那（1991年韓國首爾出世）是一位雕塑家，致力探索雕塑作為敘事架構的發展潛力，得出涉及多重視覺觀點並引出不明確詮釋的個人、典型和交接地點的象徵性結構。在作品中滲透的模稜兩可揭示他無間斷地探究雕塑作為能指和所指的表達潛能，並表明他對於當代藝術中的身份政治、消費文化、社會規範結構和後現代話語的批判立場。

Young-jun Tak (b. 1989 in Seoul, South Korea) is a Berlin-based artist who traces the intersection of q***r identity, religious beliefs, and specific spatiality, visualizing these structures through video, sculpture, and two-dimensional works. Tak examines sociocultural and psychological mechanisms that shape belief systems, ranging from simple worshipped objects to sophisticated forms
of religions.

卓永俊（1989年出生於南韓首爾）是現居及工作於柏林的藝術家。他追溯酷兒身分、宗教信仰及特定空間之交集，並通過錄像、雕塑及二維作品視覺化當中的結構。卓氏研究形成信仰體系背後的社會文化及心理機制，範圍由簡單的被受崇拜的物件，以至複雜的宗教形式。
