🎉 Student Consultants Onboarding Session Sem B 2023/2024

🌟 Today was our onboarding day, packed with fun and meaningful moments. We kicked off the day with ice-breaking games, bringing our team closer than ever and fostering connections between consultants and our amazing committee.

🗣️ Our former consultants and committee members generously shared their valuable experiences, challenges they encountered, and insightful advice for our new consultants. Their wisdom and guidance will undoubtedly empower us on our consulting journey.

🍽️ To celebrate this fantastic day, we headed to a local restaurant together for some delicious food and unforgettable bonding. Laughter filled the air as we shared stories, built friendships, and strengthened our team spirit.

180DC CityU x Training Workshop with Elly Zee Sem B 2022/23

This semester, 180DC CityU is glad to have the continuous support from our proficient trainer Ms. Elly Zee from E Zee Learning. Elly, an experienced consultant in the industry and the founder of E Zee Learning, kindly shared her experience throughout the years on HR consulting. Student consultants also engaged in project consulting sessions, Q&A sessions, progress updates and discussions.

With the help from Elly, our consultant teams have developed a primary focus on their projects better. During the workshop, sagacious insights were instilled and clarified the projects’ objectives and directions. We believe that this workshop encourages the two teams to improve and grow during the progress!

180DC CityU X PERSOLKELLY Consulting Hong Kong Training Workshop Sem B 2022/23

It is our honor to have our experienced trainer, Mr. Alvin Leung from PERSOLKELLLY Consulting again in this semester. This time, Alvin shared his knowledge on problem solving in logical thinking. A series of brainstorming,group discussions, role-playing, anslysis were conducted in the training workshop.

Our student consultant teams have gained a lot from Alvin’s inspirational insights after the workshop. Again, we would like to express our gratitude to Alvin Leung and PERSOLKELLY Consulting.

180DC CityU Student Consultant Onboarding Day Sem B 2022/23

We are thrilled to have officially started our Semester B 22/23 term with our onboarding session last Saturday! We are happy to welcome the new batch of student consultants this semester. On onboarding session, we had several activists such as ice breaking games, branch introduction, and project discussion.

We are really appreciate everyone’s effort on attending and engaging into the session. We wish all the talented consultants to enjoy the projects and be able to learn in the coming few months.

#2 Project Spotlight: FeedingHK

Last semester, our branch did a project with FeedingHK. Feeding Hong Kong (FeedingHK) is a local charity that works as a bridge to connect food companies and people in need. FeedingHK aims to maximize the duplex stock from food companies and deliver to people in need.

A big round of applause to our fantastic student consultants who completed their final presentation. We are happy that we can be part of FeedingHK growth journey and we wish a sincere success for FeedingHK in the future!

#1 Project Spotlight: ImpactHK

Last semester, our branch did a project with ImpactHK. Impact Hong Kong (ImpactHK) is a local non-profit organization that not only focuses on helping homeless people in every aspect of their lives but also is dedicated to educating the public about homelessness in Hong Kong.

It is an honor for the 180DC CityU Branch to collaborate with ImpactHK. Thank you ImpactHK for trusting us.

Final Pitch Night Semester A 2022/2023 🎉

On January 20th 2023, 180DC CityU branch held final pitch night to wrap up our projects for Semester A 2022/2023. After months of hard work, we are beyond grateful that our consultants who are able to executed the project with ImpactHK and FeedingHK.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Ms. Elly Zee and trainers from PersolKelly Consulting Hong Kong, who are willing to spare their time to guide our student consultants through this semester. Moreover, we are also like to thank to CityU College of Business for continuous support to our branch.

We sincerely wish for our client growth in the future. Moreover, we also looking forward to other exciting project in future!

Training Workshops with Ms. Elly Zee and Ms. Priscilla

This semester, 180DC CityU to have two training workshops by Ms. Elly Zee from E Zee Learning. It was a greatly insightful workshop where our student consultants can learn directly from the expert.

In the first workshop, Elly provided a big picture of consulting by sharing her experiences to our consultants. Moreover, we had the second training workshop where the student consultants had a chance to present their current progress after first meeting with clients and Elly gave feedback and useful reccommendations to our consultants. We also have a guest, Ms. Priscilla, who was helping our consultant to see from client’s perspective regarding to the project outcomes.

We would like to thank Ms. Elly Zee and Ms. Priscilla for taking her time to share about her experience as a consultant and to give fruitful advices to our student consultant. We are sure these training session is one that will not be forgotten.

We are glad to announce our continuous partnership with PERSOLKELLY Consulting Hong Kong for this semester. This semester, we have Alvin Leung, Grace Tse, and Catti Lee shared us some great ideas related to problem solving and CSV activity.

We want to say to Alvin, Grace, and Catti from PERSOLKELLY Consulting for delivering our student consultants with the amazing insights. We are sure that our student consultants learned a lot from it and ready to implement it on society.
